Graham's look and the jersey over his face in the dressing room shows that he is extremely despondent and puzzled with the way that the team is playing and embarrassed at the same time with how poorly things are going. His time at the Dragons has not been a pleasant one unfortunately. He continues to try but he is not the same guy as the one who came to play at the Bulldogs.

Start with our own, Saab, Ramsay, Feagai's, Ford, Sullivan, Blacker etc and chuck them in this year for experience. Then raid some youngsters at other clubs and try and pick up a Papenhuzen, Burton, Chrichton etc. Keep a few older heads and build for the future.

In any case the list for 2020 is not an inspiring one. As for the backs, maybe Sailor is worth trying to re-sign. The others can go. In the forwards, Kerr is about it.

Imo, we need to looking at:
A fullback
A lock
2 props
At a minimum, however, unless the road is clear of who our ciach will be, noone will come here unlrss its for their final 'pension' contract.

Urgency is needed, not uncertainty.

In the forwards we just need two marquee forwards to replace Frizell and Graham. McInnes can go to lock and Hunt to hooker.

In the backs we just need a marquee fullback and promote some good young juniors who will be ready in 2021. Ramsey, Sailor, the Peagai brothers, Saab, Clune and Sullivan.

Main thing is that we need to find a way to sack Mary and hire Bennett to oversea the this young team.

I doubt they would take it because he's going to court soon and talk is it could get thrown out of court, probably an incredibly low chance but I doubt they will find someone decent willing to come for just one year anyway so I guess they are just resigned to either a miracle happening and Jack back or ride the season out and be in position to resign him next year or put the money towards someone of similar price.
