That was only on normal. It really stood out to me because I hadn't really stumbled upon any Deathclaw that weren't a scripted part of something on my other character, and that one is being played on hard.

What difficulty level are you playing on? I've only seen maybe 6-7 deathclaws in my entire 50 hours of play time >_>

I just had one in fking Sunshine Tidings. I was getting some stuff from the workbench and moving beds and shit around, heard shooting, went over to help the settlers take out the raiders....and it was a motherf**king Deathclaw.

I've had 8 or 9 in The Glowing Sea alone, and then another random maybe 5 or 6 in about 36 hours play time. Just on Normal.

Spawn appears to be really random outside of structures.

Must be. I haven't faced many at all. 2-3 in the Glowing Sea and about 3-4 scripted ones.

Conversely, I've run into like 6-7 Behemoths in the last few hours of play, and only Swan was scripted.

My brother said the same about Deathclaws. But we've played for roughly the same amount of time and explored fairly similar areas for the most part, and I've yet to have to fight a Glowing One at all and he's had rather a few.

I started a second character to run a melee build. Helping out the minute men they send me off to help a settlement towards Dunwich Borers, in the top left corner of the map. I stumble across a deathclaw, and decide to just leg it and hide at the settlement. The deathclaw follows, but before making it to the settlement the deathclaw gets taken out by a suicider super mutant. I make it to the settlement, and they send me to take out raiders at the Dunwich Borers, along the way I end up get chased by a second Deathclaw. I lead this to the raiders, where it proceeds to go on a rampage through the raiders. While watching this from a safe distance, I get killed by a third deathclaw that had snuck up on me.

Smart tactics. Horrible ending :D

I see alot more Deathclaws than Behemoths tbh

Other than the scripted occurances, I've probably had one random sighting of a Behemoth.

In saying that, Deathclaws and Behemoths don't scare me as much as Sentry Bots and their twin gatling lasers...

I'm only on hard on my original character, but nothing really worried me once I hit level 40. The hardest fight I had was the first courser you have to take down.

I have had bundles of them. They're a pain in the ass.

Had two Mirelurk Queens (outside of the one at The Castle) and one Mirelurk King too.

I just earlier had a second Mirelurk Queen randomly, that was something of a shock. Lucky she was a ways off and I just pumped it full of missiles.

I was going off to kill Sinjin and there were four suicide mutants out the front of the hospital, which was a bit of fun with my fancy new sniper rifle.

Played s ridiculous amount today, so I've had a few Glowing Ones too.

Fallout 4, our relationship was good while it lasted but the slow descent into losing interest in you is beginning. Finished with 3/4 endings at level 57.

Ohh well... onwards to Just Cause I guess...

Great game, but...

I got one ending, and am not that keen to go around again.

Meanwhile, I beat Witcher 3 six times...

Bethesda, please stop releasing such buggy - yet, ultimately, brilliant - games.

The main storyline in Witcher 3 is average at best, but I don't know - it kept pulling me in.

Fallout 4 was heaps of fun, but for whatever reason, I don't feel the urge to play it again for a long time.

After beating The Last Of Us and Witcher 3, I immediately started new playthroughs.

But that's me.

Funny you should mention TLOU, because that's another game that is apparently the greatest thing since sliced bread, which I haven't finished because it bored me to tears. It's just a glorified third person, cover based shooter. Honestly, the only game I've played this year that I would put behind The Witcher is that abortion of a sports game Rugby League Live 3.

I reckon TLOU is the best game I've ever played - the gameplay, the world, the visuals, the acting...

The story was a little generic, but the experience was sublime imo.

But Fallout 4 had a generic story, too.

It's story was generic, but I wasn't bored shitless playing it, and at the end of the day that's what video games are about for me.

TLOU and The Witcher 3 shit all over FO4 IMO.

If the TLOU story is generic then FO4's is the equivalent of an Adam Sandler movie.

I love The Last of Us but it didn't drag me in like Fallout has. And neither did Fallout 3 previously. Maybe it's just that Fallout was exactly the game I felt like playing when I started, who knows. But I went months without playing TLOU despite being part way through.

Haven't played the witcher
