Hate to interrupt this riveting conversation with some actual news about PNG …

Was reading in the Telegraph this morning that Brad Arthur has contacted the NRL and is prepared to get involved with the PNG set up/ pathways and move over there … If they are to be given the green light later this year …could be worth sending him over there ASAP to start working … has a lot of experience … could also be a possibility as their coach later on…

In unrelated news, PNG has requested they no longer be considered for a team.

That would be a great appointment, he brought a lot of good kids through at Parra.

But the expansion experts on this forum said no Aussies would want to move to png to be part of this

Run me through the great gamut of NRL head coaching jobs that are floating around?

Ok - There are two vacancies at the moment ,.. his old job and the Souths job…

More to come later in the season most likely …Nth QLD guy is looking a little shaky…who knows about Benji’s long term future

Not sure if you have heard… but it’s not uncommon for sacked coaches to get an assistant coach gig whilst awaiting their next HC opportunity… ex winning premiership coach Flanagan just went through this process …

Arthur would take any of those jobs in a heart beat over PNG.

However he won't coach first grade again for some time.

There would be about 3 "big money" roles on offer though.

Your argument is pretty disingenuous though, considering you are leading the "No one wants to live in WA" brigade.
