How many old Bears fans are likely to still be left and passionate enough to attend games?
Considering it’s been almost 25 years since they were in the comp and they only averaged 8-11k home attendance in their last couple of years.

There are still quiet a few of us around, with the Bears still in the NSW Cup and with representative teams featured in S.G.Ball, Harold Mathews, Harvey Normans Womens, the Tarsha Gale U19’s and the junior representative teams there is still a following there.
But yes most of us aren’t getting any younger lol.

My instinct is that they will care if they feel as though it’s a half arsed ex-Sydney side that is clinging to any potential expansion opportunity (Central Coast, Perth, Pacific etc.) and still looking to play games at NSO.

Thats exactly the feeling over here. Norths arnt some great brand that everyone wants to latch on to, They were always a bit of joke as a club. Couldnt survive rationalisation and couldnt even stay in a merger.

I think that would be good business yea, they could sell 15K one game memberships at $50 a pop , attendance , a cap scarf & bumper sticker
& maybe convince a few to take up away supporter memberships

At least weve had a pirate in WA. cant say there's been many Bear sightings outside the zoo.
