To answer your question... YES! Because it always happens at Dogs games. When sh*t like this has happened over the years there has always been 1 common variable. Its not the weather, the stadium, the time of day etc. The common variable is always that its a bulldogs game. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to put the pieces together mate.

No, it hasn't.

There has been instances of Parra fans throwing coins. Newcastle Vs Manly Fans Getting into brawls amongst others. You are the media's intended audience...mindless, naive and gullible

It has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with repeat offenders. Time and time again they're (Bulldogs fans) are in the news for stupidity. If they aren't smashing Cityrail trains, it's each other now apparently.

I daresay you would have more repeat issues at cricket matches than at a Dogs game. You just don't hear about it as often as it is not beat up as much. It has everything to do with race.

It's not racial at all.

Just media agencies are loathe to bag the fans of any "Australian" Rep team

Clubs is easy, they are a minority who are without disliked by fans of their own code.

They start picking on fans of Australian sides and there is a backlash that is feared

Im Lebanese and im the first to admit they are young Lebanese boys who are in the middle of this so yes u can pin point it to a race, not everyone of that race though, only an extreme minority. I actually will not go to a Tigers game when playing Doggies because it turns my stomach seeing this crap.

The thing i can't understand is that an extremely large part of the Eels and Dragons support base are Lebanese and they are the games i look most forward to going to and if any fan should be upset it should certainly be a Dragons supporter.

If i'm naive, mindless and gullible than your just plain ignorant.

In the past 4 years I have been to 4 games in which I can remember there being fights. 3 of those were Bulldogs matches where there was a bulldogs fan involved. The last one was a Raiders v Dragons game where an idiot Bulldogs supporter started on a Dragons fan.

I don't really watch the news. I don't even read the paper very often unless someone in my family buys it and I have spare time. I do however attend matches and witness Bulldogs crowd behaviour first hand.

I can imagine the 100's of fans who were once again willing to chance their family's too Dogs games again not going anymore its a damn shame.

However how could anyone risk the lives of innocent children when there is constant and extreme violence at these games is beyond me.

I'd rather take my chance of running through a shooting range then go to a Dogs game.

Very true and these incidents were reported in the papers. But the facts are the Dogs continually have these issues with some of their fans, it is not a isolated incident. Whereas what you identified above are isolated incidents and do not continually occur.

100 people getting ejected and arrested at a cricket match hardly rates a mention. We are an easy target due to the ethnicity of our fans

Stupid comparison! I have been to many cricket games and yes a lot of people have been ejected but that has more to do with drinking 47 schooners in 37 degree temperatures and chucking a couple of cups as opposed to the continuous bad behaviour exhibited by a minority of bulldogs fans.

Racism is discrimination based on skin colour. The media is not discriminating here, they are merely reporting facts. The fact being that the vast majority of crowd trouble in the NRL comes from bulldogs fans whether they are white, black, blue, red or green does not change this fact. It’s a shame really because I know a few dogs supporters who have had a gutful of it and are sick of the headlines.

Doggies fans fighting amognst themselves?? What a joke.

After all the Doggies have done to make there club right again.. they
start more of this.

What a disgrace. Sandy Roberts said once that he beleived the Doggies were a blight and should be removed from the competition. Maybe he was right.

The AFL Sandy Roberts? He wouldn't know of anythig outside of Moorabin, let alone have any inkling if anything in Rugby League. He hates the game. He'd have more interest in tossing Bruce McAvaneys salad whilst going over the top about who has the most "SPECIAAAAAAAL" turtle neck sweater. Outside of that, he's got about as much credit as your cheating bunch cheats. Freakshow that they have become.

Should tie in nicely with the aca story Tonight . How convenient , seriously the media are a joke as is often complained about in here with regards to Rothfield v the dragons , Telecrap vs NRL , Vic media regarding the AFL and on it goes . No different with reporting of bulldog games , as said violence and trouble is more prevalent at one day cricket but the cricketers are 'our" team arent they ,so its different .

Congrats! First to trot out the excuse that they are not in Bulldogs colours. They are Bulldogs fans, they went to the game. Maybe blue and white clashes with the gang colours?
Did you look at the photos he posted? Unlike your speculation and blind following of the media, YES these people probably are Bulldogs supporters but they don't wear the colours and are there usually for the sole purpose of causing trouble.
Those pics are just like a "where's Wally". Instead of looking for the bloke in red and white, you have to see if you can spot the guy with two eyebrows.
 well played
bulldogs fans or not they are f**king idiots and should be banned for life. Greenberg in saying they aren't bulldogs fans is speaking of the true fans. The ones who show up every week to support the team and not to start fights and act like clowns. And we have alot of them. The club has done everything possible to stop this sort of thing happening so im sick to death of everyone bagging out the bulldogs without offering an alternative solution that the bulldogs as a club could try to implement. And fact is this was a parra home game so not much we could do as a club to keep to our policy of having the dogs army in a bay with all the members details and stuff like that on record. Not to say it was the dogs army...the photos are of people in just normal jumpers...I dont want these idiots at our games and nor do 99.9% of other bulldogs fans
The incident which occured was at the opposite end of the stadium to the Bulldog Army, matty you were in front of me and would've known that.
Family members of mine had to leave this game 20mins early because of this brawl/fight,they didn't want to stick around and risk anything with there young kids with them.

Appalling behaviour from these dopes
 F**k off back to your hole idiot. The incident didn't occur until well inside the final ten minutes - stop pretending you even support rugby league, fool.

 You must write for the Telegraph, well done.

Got a solution to offer? I'm not talking about docking points, I'm not talking about blaming the clubs administration - I'm talking real solutions that will stop these sorts of f**kwits even contemplating turning up.

The media is absolutely discriminating. You obviously haven't been to cricket matches - people who are escorted out are yes, mostly intoxicated but there are plenty of physical altercations, some involving more than 2 people, at every single game.

Let's get real - it's easier to single out the stereotype. Someone identified it earlier, the backlash against the media would be huge.

In summary: I hope they can do something to kerb this sh*t but what that something is, I don't know.
