sugar coat is Timmah but it doesnt fly...

ffs doesnt matter how much you bury your head in the sand and try to prove they werent "true" fans the fact is why is it only the bulldogs club thats gets these headlines??????

when did a tigers fan smash a train, or when was there a fight at Brookvale???

I still don't follow your point, what do you propose happens? I'm not denying this stuff happens, and nowhere did I bury my head in the stand. You clearly cannot read if you think otherwise.

BTW, suggesting there aren't fights in Brookvale is like suggesting the planes didn't hit the towers in 2001...

Some of you are just drop kicks suggesting that the Bulldogs are a disgrace of a club because of a few bad eggs.

The new admin has done a great job in cleaning up the image of the club and should be applauded for it.

Timmah it is a tough one and I have no solution to the problem, I think it is something your club is going to have to live with. I was not bagging the club at all, just pointing out to a doggies fan that it was not a isolated incident. I know all clubs have their sh!thead fans, Manly included, I cringe when I see some of my fellow fans behaviour, however it is unfortunate that you have more of them.

By virtue of being a Manly fan, all Manly fans are scum. You should never generalise, except in this case.

The mere behaviour of wearing moron and white at BrokeBack Oval is offensive behaviour. I would suggest prison as a punishment - but, for most Manly fans, this would be like a homecoming.

While I'll take photographic evidence over anecdotal evidence any day, I haven't denied there are Bulldogs fans who do this - I just fail to understand why it's a burden we, as well-behaved Bulldogs fans, should shoulder. The administration of our club is committed to do what it can to stamp out this element - yet so many people simply want to use these incidents as an excuse to give our club another kick in the teeth - why?

I completely disagree - we don't have more of these dickheads, we have more aggressive dickheads. I'd hazard a guess they're the same in number to most other clubs' unruly fans but ultimately they're more violent and often travel in "packs" so to speak.

it is simple...
Ban the following at bulldogs games and you should be okay:
1. People with mullets
2. People with rats tales
3. People with bum bags
4. People wearing Nike TN shoes

Therefore you have more d!ckheads :) Just as I was saying. Whilst all clubs have their d!ckhead element they generally just use verbal abuse where as your club has ones that often use violence as you said, this is why I say you have more of them. Not going to bother arguing minor details with you but I am sure you get what I am saying. I will say I do not blame the club, I feel sorry for you guys (the club and decent fans) having to put up with it. And I would have no idea how to stop it.

Glad to see someone post without sensationalising the problem

The thing I don't get about the whole scenario is how people get into ACA/Today Tonight mode and state "I'll never attend a Bulldogs game again". I've attended hundreds of Bulldogs games over the years and not once have I encountered this violence first hand, noone has singled me out or tried to start fights. These cretins often fight amongst themselves or each other and I can honestly say when I have seen these incidents from a distance they've never involved families.

While I understand the need to protect children etc I just don't understand this supposed fear based on a few media reports.

The important thing out of this incident is that six arrests were made, rather than letting the morons get away with it.

Now they will come with more of their mates at next parra game, they will hang out at maccas first then wait for parra fans and have 20 on 1 as 20 on 2 would be too much to them.
They are fully sic in the head these dumb arses and ruin it for genuine bulldog fans
