I like the Sharks, I really do.

I honestly think the Sharks fans on here are the best collectively.

Their sense of humour is sensational.

Look at the avatars and sig pictures Quigs uses during a year, it says it all.

I seriously don't mean to be rude but I can't stop laughing.

Not at the plight the club finds itself in but the incredible array of sh*t unknown to the white man that keeps finding it's way out into the open.

Just this week we've seen Labrador conspiracies and now salary cap covering life insurance policies that turn out to be fraudulent.

FMD, when will this ever end!!!!!!!!!!:lol:

Perhaps they should just set up a Police station in Cronulla Leagues club. The club would benefit from leasing out part of their building and the Cops won't have so far to travel whenever they have to conduct an investigation.

oh man, why is rugby league always so dramatic? this is insane.

So not only will the millions promised to the Sharks not eventuate, but could the Sharks be held liable for accepting money obtained through illegal channels? Or are the Sharks thanking their lucky stars that Zappia conducted this business without the boards knowledge, thereby insulating the club from the worst of the fallout?

No wonder the bloke was so keen on his identity being kept a secret.

On my limmited amounts of studdies in the Law area, no they can't be held liable, unless the Sharks knew the money they were getting was from illegal channels, which looks doubtful IMO.

Doubtful - as a betting man, I'd put my house on the opposite.

Rugby league administrators do deals which are rubberstamped by a board of their best drinking buddies - overseen by the geniuses of the NRL including Sherlock Schubert. yep, squeaky clean all the way.:lol:

This whole Sharks sh*t is just pure comedy gold. You couldn't script it better.

I hope no-one on the Sharks board and management actually was getting paid any sort of salary or allowance while all these misadventures were happening. Their performance has been totally amateur on all fronts.

they beat your team shyte for brains.

Will the Sharks apologies to everyone ... for everything.

Why?

All this sh*t started with an incident that occured 7 years ago - no laws were broken, but the media treated it like nuclear war.

In fact if any club should apologise, it's your mob (Manly). That is where it all started. Producers from Four Corners actually went digging for the Sharks rubbish on the back of what Manly started.

Ha! Insults. I know I've won the argument when the response is only to insult me.

But I do concede that you nearly alway beat us. The Furner Family Football Club (trading as Canberra Raiders) is well versed in amateurishness itself.

Manly kicked it all off.

The producers of Four Corners even admitted that the Brett Stewart incident was the catalyst to go digging...and dig they did, hence the domino effect with the Sharks.

I think Brutus is right, if the events at the start of this year hadn't taken place I doubt they would've chased after these incidents. It's all come out at once. I wouldn't say it's Manly's fault as such but if Stewart hadn't done what has allegedly been done in March, we wouldn't be in the same place we are today, with incidents and such all over the media.

Yeah it's Stewart's fault that the Sharks are doing dodgy stuff.

What would you prefer, this is all swept under the rug and the same sh*t keeps on going on? Or that people are being outed for doing the wrong thing. Hopefully people learn from these idiots mistakes.

For all the people LOL at Cronulla's rotten luck, remember it's Rugby League's reputation that the media is dragging through the mud.

Rugby League is the target, there's agendas known and unknown, and media organisations using our game as ammunition against each other.

David Gallop, defend the game not your organisation's priorities.
