As a NsW fan I'm legitimately worried about the thought of Ponga singlehandedly doing a job on the blues.
Honestly the club deserves much more credit than they get for the punt they took in securing his signature, for a cash strapped, bottom of the ladder team to take such an extraordinary gamble on an unproven teenager was ballsy but the results are phenomenal, we've got a genuine superstar spine player for less money than what we would've paid Dane Gagai

I reckon Tedesco should make the most of any tests he plays for Australia because given half a sniff and a season more and Kayln will have a mortgage on the jumper for the next decade.

He's already ahead or just behind him in most stats ...... take away Tedesco's pace and he pretty much isnt much at all. Kayln on the other hand , has a kicking game, a passing game, and a step on him that is simply divine.

Teddy is a great player but his biggest asset is the spine he has been playing in, + the fwd pack he has played behind in the last 1.5 yrs

You can tell how much the lads like Ponga. As soon as he was hit, everyone jumped in to kill JWH. It's also great to see our team refuse to be bullied. Used to get rolled over but the past few weeks we have stamped all over players like Tariq and JWH who bullied us in games in years gone by.

Teddy in a badly beaten team

24 runs, 280 metres

Ponga is a superstar but can't see him dethroning his fullback spot

The origin battle should be amazing
