Exactly Trifili that's life and even the really rich still like to work by choice to keep the brain cells active and for social contact. They have got to be very grateful that they are able to earn good money for as long as their careers can last.
I'm guessing that quite a few of the players are studying and doing tertiary courses to be able to do stuff after footie life. Others, become assistant coaches, trainers, coaches, fitness guys, broadcasters, journalists. So much available to do, just gotta go for it because life doesn't stop in your mid 30's.
