Poor widdle channel 9

Channel 9 do very little for the promotion of rugby league... my only fear is that Seven will do the same thing if they get the rights!

Which is why the NRL absolutely has to build in a lot of guarantees like the AFL have done re national covergae, positive news spin, contra advertising etc

I don't undertsand why RL is treat with such disdain by the TV companies compared to other sports but if they are going to do it then it is up to the NRL to make sure they choose a partner that is the most positive and that we can keep a hold of by the balls to make them fulfill their commitments to the game!
