With the Badgery's Creek Airport going ahead as announced today, Penrith it is.
It won't be next week, but it shall be.
Does the airport magically airlift the region of Penrith 25km South-east?

High growth because it is from a very low base. There's only about 300k at the moment.A short drive.

...but yeah, I guess we could put it in Liverpool or congest Parramatta even more.
Take a trip to Parra before you talk. No parking now. Now where around you could build it. No where to stop buses. They make it bigger it will be a nightmare to get in and out of. Kinda defeats the purpose or an upgrade

Have you seen what is planned for Parra? It's going to rival the Sydney CBD. As the money flows in for all of that they'll build the public transport infrastructure to go with it.
Penrith is too far away. Giving Penrith a 500 million dollar stadium only helps Penrith. Parra is so much more central, a lot more people can get to it than to Penrith.
Parramatta is going to become a bigger CBD than Adelaide. That is where the NSW govt is focusing its plans.
Penrith will not get a major upgrade in the forseeable future. Parra will.
