I thought our defence was better this week. Alvaro was definitely quicker off the ground.

You didn’t see the disunity at the start of last year when we lost 6 in a row so what makes you think it won’t happen again?

Did you see disharmony in the second half of 2017? Of course not. Winning breeds unity...losing breeds disharmony. We have found our standard losing culture.

I don't see us running last, but I also don't see us finishing too far out of the bottom 4, if not in it, come seasons end. Having said that, i didn't see it being any different at the start of the season.

We we're pretty ordinary last year. It would be virtually impossible to be that ordinary again.

The Storm have hammered a fair bit of confidence out of us. I see our best form for the season behind us.

I could easily see Souths, Sharks, Broncos and Raiders all beating us.

So how has Des got Manly firing? They’re worse off than us, with far more injury concerns...and yet they play with attitude, commitment and skill level far beyond the team list they are trotting out each week.

The thing that disappoints me most about our last three weeks is the fact that this season, we had a massive chance to right the wrong's of seasons past. We were back in a new stadium, and we started the season well.
This is/was our huge opportunity to get back on track, consolidate our membership and crowd numbers and thrust the club forward to future success.
Yet, after such a promising start to the season, we have drifted fairly quickly back into our culture of mediocrity, destroying any goodwill and positivity that was potentially available and forthcoming, and making the most of massive growth and potential that this supposedly great club has.

FFS, we currently have the 3rd highest amount of members in the NRL, even after winning 3 wooden spoons in recent years.
The club has so much potential, yet we are stuck in the mire of season after season of failure.
It's so frustrating to see a club with so much potential, chuck it down the drain year after year.
Tbh, I'm f**king sick of it.
