I thought that was milfords job

All you guys disparaging Milford may be in for a shock next season. His kicking and general playmaking advanced in leaps and bounds in 2018, and he did it carrying injury. He's in for a huge year.

Inb4fatjokes "he's huge every year" blahblah

You might be right, but forgive me if I remain skeptical. I've heard similar things about Milford for a couple of years.

No, Milford's job is to writhe on the ground, get up as slowly as possible and whinge at the referee to help alleviate the frustration of the backs inability to generate momentum. Sometimes he'll mix it up and lose the ball, usually in bad situations.

Milford is a brilliant player, but the sooner he gets that crap out of his game, the sooner he'll actually get to show off his talent.

Moose's pedestrian 4th tackle runs was the bane of many Broncos fans existence and we've been calling for just about anyone else in the 13. Fortunately for Show, Green will likely have him in the middle where he can fill a similar role that Hannant played to great success.

Yep, we need a big minute eater and 40 odd tackle maker of required in the middle. Josh might be a grub and blind in one eye but he has a massive motor

The good thing about McGuire's 'grubbiness' is that it isn't as common as you'd think. So while he does shitty things like pulling player's hair and stepping on hands, he usually keeps it in check. Over the past six seasons, he's only made the top 50 penalised list once, with 15 penalties, which is pretty good.

Defence is McGuire's biggest concern. He's always struggled initiating contact, but in the past year or so it really tapered off which is why the Broncos ruck was so threadbare in 2018. Considering the Cowboys struggles in that department, you're going to have to hope that McLean doesn't slack off otherwise teams are just going to march through the middle.

The first paragraph is textbook Darius

Milford should have won the Clive Churchill in 15

He was head and shoulders the best player on the paddock

He is capable of brilliance

Needs more consistent performances

Milford and Granville were best on ground. Shame Granville has regressed a fair bit since then.

Granville was the best Cowboy. NQL weren’t the same team when he was getting a rest that day. But he got snubbed for the Thurston love parade.

Granville's second stint cost him big time. He was really good in the first half, but when he came back on he looked frazzled. His service was awful and he was very indecisive.

Thurston was the difference between the two teams and I'd have Granville behind Tamou.
