Jason Smith? That’s Brian Smith’s dad FFS!Jason Smiths son???
As if there has ever been any try with heavy involvement from JA.
Are you defending JA again? Typical.Death rider
it's cool, I would have snapped it up on the half volley and scooted through the gap and bang it down between the posts
LOL@ the people trying to talk Jake up as a forward prospect, it's just pure cope on the fact he isn't a first graders arsehole. He couldn't stand out in a reserve grade game with almost all the ball. Not only did he not stand out he struggled. I'll say i again if his last name was Smith he'd be battling it out for a NSW Cup spot.

Mate you didn't even spot Hodgson's shiny noggin. What the f**k would you know about rubby league?!just hedging my bets each way, in case he comes good. Fence sitting u could say.
Russell better learn how to make one on one tackles and how to follow the ball as it moves across the field or it wont matter how many tries we score. That actually sounds like a half decent succession plan, should Moses' manager decide Moses will play elsehwere in 2024.
And then all we'd need is a hooker to pick up from Hodgson when he retires.

There was nothing wrong with Joel Reddy. He had a decent career and had a great 2009 when we charged into the GF.Seemed safe but as others have said. Joel Reddy like. I don't see explosiveness or electric speed or power. If he doesn't develop this he will be nothing more then a plodder.
I'm sure that's part of the development plan. It was something Jarryd Hayne had to learn when stepping up from being a winger back in the day too.Russell better learn how to make one on one tackles and how to follow the ball as it moves across the field or it wont matter how many tries we score.
Hayne had enough upside to make the effort of developing his weaknesses worth it.I'm sure that's part of the development plan. It was something Jarryd Hayne had to learn when stepping up from being a winger back in the day too.
I was impressed with his efforts both on and off the ball.I like the look of Jordan Yates. Solid and his service from dummy half was excellent. He probably wouldn’t have shown his worth if that old hack Rein hadn’t come off with a HIA. I’d definitely consider him for a spot on the bench. No way Hodgson can play the full 80 min.

Of course. Otherwise why would we ever bother developing younger players, or buying them in when they aren't already established NRL players?Hayne had enough upside to make the effort of developing his weaknesses worth it.
Do you think Russell has?

Good service from dummy half and the guy was everywhere in defence.
Unofficial (NRL) stats had him with 38 tackles in 40 mins of football.
