Its an interesting one. Tigers and Dragons popped their cookies in a massive way and have then been shooting blanks ever since. We've at least had a reasonable level of semen flow over many years even if we haven't had a money shot.

Either way, I think the club should be consistently contending and winning a GF more frequently than we have. Missing the 8 this year was a big step backwards.

We should be a top 6 club and competing deep into September.

When you take the emotion out of it & strip it all back we have been dreadfully unlucky come finals time with certain circumstances since 2005. Where the Tigers & Dragons hit there one and only peak of making a GF they lucked in with a weaker opponent.

There not excuses as champion teams find a way no matter the adversity but gee you would swear some of these things that have happened we have some curse running around.

2006, 2007, 2009 we got knocked out by a team over the cap.
2017 - We copped some harsh calls in Melbourne which would have flipped the whole finals series if we won that final.
2020 - Injuries to our whole backline & Drug Suspension on game day of a knockout semi final.
2021 - We got royally screwed over by Klein & officials lets be honest 1 try each there was nothing in that match. If you flip a coin 100 times we probably win that match 50 times.
2022 - Ran into the greatest side of the modern era on GF day.
