It was a mistake on his part, i agree inglis is hard to stop and would of beaten most fullacks but kurt isnt most fullbacks. I wouldn't expect him to catch him in a chase, inglis is quicker. But in my oppinion Kurt is probably the best cover defender around. He nearly always makes the right decision and his timing is great. i dont mean to be critisising him for it, but im sure if you were to ask him (unsubstantiated assumption here) he would say he could of done it better.

Oh mate don't apologise for criticising him, all I'm trying to say albeit extremely poorly is that Inglis has ridiculous pace. Kurt as good as he is, cannot compete with that pace, and got fooled by an in and away , there wasn't a whole lot he could have done. He had support inside.

yeah i think what made it stick out more for me was my mates and i were having a great laugh at slater seemingly fleeing from hayne in his first try (or no try as it turns out). then this gave the qld supporters amongst us ammo to return serve lol. So i could well be making it out to be a bigger deal than it was.
