Rugby League News. They said Macgregor and Young would take over short term and they'll go after Sheen or Brown. Not too happy that they'd go after those two blokes.

Ive said it before and I may yet be proved wrong but the dragons dont sack coaches. I reckon he'll see the season out one way or another.

This bloke is spot on. Say what you want about the other mugs, this bloke gets it right nearly all the time. Wouldn't have bothered putting this up if he didn't.

I think McGregor is an even dire prospect. He was interviewed on Dragons TV a while back and what transpired was a horrendously scripted attempt at coming off as a professional and results based figurehead at the club. The players need a "person" like a Bennett, or a Toovey, or a Hasler, not some pretender that wears a suit and talks a big game but can't even run the water properly.

You can't be a dumb bum and be a successful coach. Ex footballers generally don't have the smarts to be successful. Some do (e.g Des Hasler) but most don't. Being a greyhound man (Price) says a lot about where you sit on the intelligence scale. How the hell are you going to communicate, inspire and get grown men to run through brick walls for you if you are as dumb as poor old Pricey. I hope to be renewing my membership in round 6 after Price is booted in round 5. Then again if Mary, Young, Hornby etc get the nod i will have to think a bit harder about it

Losing to Parra and Tigers last season wasn't bad enough, they want more losses to justify that this guy can't coach. It's so sad because it is so damn obvious but the board stilll can't see it.

Sheens and Browny are good choices but Jason Taylor would also be a good choice imo. He played a pretty big role in the Roosters last season and Saints should have taken note and approached him staright after the GF and given him a full off season.
