Justin Morgan, former Welsh international, former coach of Toulouse Olympique and Hull Kingston Rovers, currently assistant coach of Melbourne Storm, is waiting in the wings to be called on by St George-Illawarra Dragons.

I get the feeling the Dragons will go for a coach with proven NRL experience rather than role the dice with an NRL rookie coach like Justin Morgan. They gave Price a shot and promoted him from assistant to head coach and he wasn't up to it so they won't be burned again so soon.

Stands to reason that any club prepared to take Benji would need an exceptional coach, imo the Dragons did Price a favour. I'm interested to see how well McGregor goes, if he fails I reckon Trent Barrett deserves a shot at the big time

But Morgan has been head coach in France and England, the latter being more important because Hull Kingston Rovers under his tutelage was lifted out of the 2nd division as a semi-pro club into a Super League club of full time professionals.

However at Toulouse Justin Morgan shocked the Poms when he took the semi-pro French club to the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup. Also at Toulouse Morgan did coach a man who now has a quite decent coaching reputation, Trent Robinson! (N.B. When Morgan went to Hull KR Trent Robinson took over as captain coach of Toulouse).

He has also had a stint as an NRL video ref last year before getting the assistant's spot with Craig Bellamy.

Justin Morgan has the advantage of also being young, a smart guy, and a very nice guy, with a very pretty wife.

He is in a good position if Saints don't go for an ageing coach such as Sheens or Bennett.

and then give Lance a gig followed by Mundine ( who's probably looking for work ) and then eventually bring Brownie back.

Guaranteed success.
