We're in 14th place. After I heard the Tigers won today I looked at their 'for and against' and thought, 'well, even if we lose today then we won't drop below them', but we did! We lost by the required 26 points!

It's over. This side will have a new coach by the end of the week, surely.

I hope so my friend. I cannot go off like I did last year but mate I feel exactly the same if not worse after this lose. Since we have not looked like a gelled team with a plan it all falls on Cappy. This loyalty thing Doyle has with him is wearing real thin

I wanted Cleary but we know he got that other gig so that leaves Kearney, Anderson or Toovey. I'd be happy with either. Andrew has had his chances and I was backing him

I'm not an inside scoop kind of guy but I know who you're joking about! I'm just coming at it from the perspective of a supporter of this club.

It's commendable that we broke from that disgusting Scurrah era of revolving door coaches (affecting his 'brand', ala jersey sales) and we gave McFadden a good go.

However, considering our collapse in results last year - which Johnson's injury played a major part in - we gave McFadden the benefit of the doubt but that good faith is exhausted as of tonight.

Our 14th position is unteneble in round eleven, as is the two recent straight loses in NZ when it was crucial we won both games, or at least this last one.

I'm sure Jim isn't happy with the current situation, but I can't see Cappy sacked without someone on the hook of quality or we start the manic roundabout again.
Cappy has a couple of outs.
RTS injury.
Sleeping pill boys.
Unsettled spine.
Underperforming "superstars".
He doesn't want drop the ball or.give away the penalties (hope he doesn't coach it)

The rest is on him and the defensive coach.

Stacey would be a fool to take over this mob, needs to move into assistant NRL coach first, maybe with a quailty coach, so may need to move to Aussie for 2-4 years
