I thought Tate played left for Brisbane, when both he and Hodges were in the centres?
May be remembering wrong.

I don't see why that can't be changed.

Cmon mate, these are Queenslanders you're talking about, switching sides would confuse these boys, they'd be out there facing the wrong way or something! Most of em didnt learn their lefts and rights until SG ball.

Tate played right side for Brisbane, IIRC.

Boyd and Inglis have a really good combination on the left, hence why Boyd has scored so many tries at SOO level.

Origin 2006
4. Tate
3. Hodges

Anyone know who played which side there?

Tate and Inglis were together.

I am a Cowboys supporter and a huge fan of Matt Bowen but if we pick anyone but Matt Gillette as the utility we've made a stupid decision. If smith gets injured Cronk to hooker, Thurston runs the show and he plays as a running 5/8. The bench should be Shillington, Hannant, Gillette, Taylor.

For mine the only harsh call QLD could make would be to bring in Parker at the expense of Myles but that against what we us usually do, although not undeserved.

My team:
Slater, Boyd, Inglis, Hodges, Tate, Thurston, Cronk, Scott, Smith, Civoniceva, Harrison, Thaiday, Parker. Interchange: Shillington, Hannant, Gillette, Taylor
18th Man Myles

Myles has been one of QLD's best for 6 years.

Myles is far better, and more versatile than Harrison. He won't be dropped.

But I do agree that Gillett has made himself an irresistable proposition for the bench spot. Anyone suggesting Bowen is in lala-land.

As much as i rate Parker at a work horse ( just look at his price and stats on super coach) I really think we need a bit of mug in the back row that Myles gives. If any thing i would have Parker at lock but Harrison is a great player as well, other then that thats my team as well, with Harrison at lock Myles 2nd row Parker 18th man

Yep......

I'm ok with shifting Harrison to 18th man. Parker at lock with his current form is hard to deny.

Other than that, Kirwan Kid is on the money.

They dont have a combination at all, anyone standing outside of Inglis on the wing will score tries. Boyd has scored 3, all of them from passes from Inglis.

He is out of form and crying during games at half time at the moment and you want him in the Queensland team?

Cronk should remain on the bench with DCE is as halfback, he is the future for Queensland. Myles should be 2nd row with Harrison on the Bench, Parker is a good player and always delivers but I dont think Origin is his cup of tea.

Well.....he IS living and playing for Newcastle.

That would be enough to make anyone cry.

Ever been to Newcastle.......it's like Brisbane's Logan x 1000

Mate, he's a winger with Inglis inside him, what's the point in replacing him.
What is the point in keeping him, just for the sake of it?

Here is some arguments for replacing him.

1. He is not a "winger" he is a fullback, so essentially he is being picked out of position.

2. He cryed on National television at half time last week, you cannot say his head is in the right place.

3. The second half of that game last week he made two of the most pathetic feeble attempts at tackles on his own line that it was almost embarrassing to watch, he just waved his arms and looked upset at the world.

4. Ash Graham is the competition leading try scorer and in great form, why not pick him along with Tate?

5. Boyd has not been in any kind of form this year and he should not be picked just as a favour to him, if anything that will harm his game, he will think he has automatic selection regardless of how he plays, he needs to earn a Queensland jersey, there are a few players who will wear it regardless of their form, but he is not one of them.

6. It is not worth risking another Queensland victory just so crybaby can receive some emotional rescue.

7. He is afraid to run the ball up and prefers to pass it to a team mate to do the work.

8. He has been shocking under the high ball all season.

Thats about it for now.

No.......he cried in his teams dressing sheds.

I'm sure if he'd known some ch9 f*ckwit cameraman was pointing his f*cken camera at him you would be down what appears to be your main arguing point. (since you've mentioned him crying ...twice)
