I would have picked Holmes as well. Gagai has been brilliant for QLD though and it is hard to judge his form when playing for Newcastle.

And Nate Myles, I could be wrong but from what I have seen from him I think he is past it now.

I don't watch Broncos games, how is Milford going at 6?

Wouldn't you simply put Holmes and Oates on the wings. Why such a difficult decision?

And why do Myles and Guerra get another crack? Surely its over?

Holmes and Oates are both left wingers.

Myles has done the job. It's not like they're selecting Tamou again. Guerra is interesting as I assume they'll use as an option in the middle.

Had a poor first 3-4 games, but has been brilliant once Hunt has got injured. He will do well outside of Cronk, no issues there. Myles is being selected on reputation a bit but he always performs for QLD, you can't deny that. Would have picked Wallace over Lillyman personally.

Mind you who is ready? I'd personally rather Morgan stay in the 14 jersey, his utility value is just too much to move him. DCE has been awful for QLD in the past. Ash Taylor is even more not ready than Milford (and he's a 7).

Myles picked up an injury on the weekend. However according to the Sea Eagles website earlier this afternoon -

Here is the latest injury news on Manly Warringah Sea Eagles prop Nate Myles.

Myles underwent scans this morning on his left knee with results clearing him of any serious injury. He has bruising of the knee.

I would've had him in my side too. Wallace too ahead of Lillyman.

I think the logic would be, there's too much missing with Scott, Parker and potentially Myles as is. Another rookie could be too much.
