If he doesn't sign with the ARU before the test, do you reckon that means something very good for us? I seriously would have thought they would announce it earlier or now.

Imo, Quade Cooper has been signed for the Club, and the announcement will be made next week after the Bledisloe. He has delayed announcing what he has doing because he wanted to get one in against the All Blacks... If he was going to sign with ARU he would have by now.
Notice how quiet the Eels have become in discussing him. It would be rude of him not to tell the Eels to look for someone else.
Has he done that....Nooooooo.
Is he going to get offered more dosh by the ARU after playing in probably a losing side..Nooooooo.
Notice how Hindy back tracked on his 'sledging' of him when his signing was first mooted..He is a SPECIAL....Just read between the lines.
In my opinion, he has already signed to play with Parra...based on his friendship with Hayne, Tahu...

if QC signs with Parra, I will attend next years Pie in the Sky event and will help you promote it leading up to it..

thats a promise ;-)

Well you better book some accommodation NOW...You could normally stay at my place (Cumberland) but I am full with family returning for the occasion.
If you can't get here, you may be able to listen to it on the CC team, or watch it on FOX Sports.
We won't need and help in promotion..I have strong enough contacts in the media and by the time the event comes around (March 5,2011) I'm sure everyone in NSW who is interested in Rugby League will be aware of it.
We have bus loads coming up from the Storm Supporters Club to watch Marcus Bai, Matty Geyer and Roarts in action; The Raiders Club is making the weekend a four day sponsors event, Dave Barnhill (Jnr) is trying to get the St George Old Boys to attend to make it a 'reunion' function, and we MAY even have a key GWS Australian Rules recruit make a cameo appearance on the day. What a coup if we can get a GWS star to play Rugby League for Hay, in answer to GWS having Folau switch to play AFL.
If we can convince him to play (and he is coming) it will create huge HEADLINES in Melbourne as well as the SYDNEY media.. I am trying to get Mick Cronin, Peter Wynn and the Bear to come along for the weekend also....

My philosophy in life is...anything can be achieved if you put your mind to it..
Paralyse resistence with persistence..

We'll see, we'll see. The power of POSITIVE thinking

If You Think You're Beaten

If you think you're beaten, you are,
If you think you dare not, you don't.
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost for sure, you won't.

If you think you're losing, you've lost.
For out in the world we find -
Success begins with a person's will,
It's all in the state of mind.

If you think you're outclassed, you are,
You've got to think high to rise.
You have to stay with it,
In order to win the prize.

Life's battles don't always go,
To the one with the better plan.
For more often than not, you will win,
If only you think you can.

Pete's logic is very sound and i'd be over the moon if he is right but i just cant see it happening. Union would seriously be crazy to let him go!

pete's logic here is very sound, Its 50/50 IMO.

It's either he signs or he doesn't.......That sure is 50/50 ...

I am very confident he WILL be an Eel next season....
Wish I could get on to Centrebet at good odds. Where's Ryano when you need him???????

You know, despite petes assurances, i'm still pretty worried.
To me, it seems everything appears to be leaning towards union, plus there was that ozzie comment about QC staying in union.

VERY VERY WORRIED.

Oh well, Morts can't be THAT bad at halfback next year....can he...?
