Well, a night from hell for us, but you can't take away that the Broncos taught us a lesson in finals footy. Well done guys and best of luck in upcoming games.
I raise the glass to Lockyer!

Does anyone agree that Rapira(I think it was him) who got put on report for a dangerous tackle should get double what Thaiday did? If he doesn't I will riot.

I agree with that

the guy landed on his head, the rule is there to stop people landing on there head, not to punish good driving tackles where the guy being tackled looks for the turf and ends up on his upper back

So this means we play Dragons at Suncorp if Melbourne win, and we take a week off if Melbourne lose? Is that right?

Impressive win against a team that traditionally makes it hard for us. Goes to show how much stronger / tougher this team is ('cept for powderpuff Hannant).

2 - McGuire: I thought it might be another 12 months before he'd show this type of form.
1 - Macca: a Smith-like performance.
1 - Yow Yeh: his ownership of the beast goes along way to putting the Warriors on the back foot.
1 - Gillett: worth a point for setting up a try the captain in the last game I'll get to see him in.
1 - Glenn: played so tough

Yep, should be at least a grade 3. Hands were between the legs. and drove head first into the ground.

How good is Beale! So so much better at fullback, I had nearly forgotten before the game. Shame he doesn't get to play fullback consistently for an NRL club..

Yep looks like we are playing the Dragons next week. Hardly a "reward" for our awesome effort. Big winners are the Warriors who lose but get to play a team ranked lower than us :?.

Just about our best performance of the year.

2. McGuire
1. Beale
1. Glenn
1. Reed
1. Gillett

McGuire is going absolutely amazing. I couldn't believe it, it was like the 78th minute or something and he makes a hit up like it was the 1st minute. Tbh he is making Hannant look pretty average.

We looked dangerous in attack all over the park really, which we haven't really shown all year. Beale was awesome, thought we would miss Hoffman HEAPS but Beale filled in very nicely. Our backrowers are just fabulous.

Good to hear haha. He had his hands between the legs too. Thaidays was just a good fashioned tackled that went a bit too far over the horizontal. I bet this doesn't get the same punishment though.

Truly awesome stuff. Saw the replay on TV today and realised just how good we were, and why the jizz kept coming!

The Warriors were crap, but it's the Broncos who made that happen, because the boys magisterially executed a flawlessly engineered game plan by Hook.

We tightened the ruck, keeping Locke, Johnson and Maloney under pressure continuously. We limited their offload ability, especially Mateo's, and we took all the confidence away from Vatuvei by deliberately targeting his aerial and defensive abilities.

We carved them up alternating our runs through the ruck and using our awesome backrow to torment them on the fringes. Lockyer and Wallace's kicking were pinpoint every time, hanging in the air just the right amount of time, and Beale demonstrated once again how good he really is at fullback.

3- Glenn
2- Gillett
1- McGuire

But it could've been: Wallace, Parker, Beale, Te'o or Reed, with Hodgo, Locky, Yow Yeh, Copley, Hunt, Hannant, and Macca slightly behind, then Anderson and Hala, just because they played fewer minutes.

Warriors were crap.......but we we awesome. Great finals footy.

A couple of lapses still showed up in our defensive line but the game was won IMO after we scored 1st in the 2nd half.

Thought the whole 17 played to their potential.......as a team. How good is McGuire going?

No point picking out too many negatives at this time of the year. Boys are playing great

and if we continue showing up to play like we did Sat night, we're capable of beating the lot of 'em.

3. McGuire
2. Parker
1. Wallace

Bring on the Drag queens.......woot woot !!! :D

Watched the replay finally. Warriors were sloppy but Broncs obviously had a game plan to shut down the offloads. It worked well. Kicking was nothing short of spectacular (minus Yow Yeh's kick...) and the forwards were great. Anderson was even a solid pass. Shame Hala doesn't know how to carry a ball but his runs in the 60th odd minute could really open up a tight game. Just what you want in an impact prop.

Looks like maybe we have timed our attack to perfection. It felt a lot like those games in late 09 when T'eo and Taylor ran rampant on the fringes. Only now with Gillet, Glenn, Reed, T'eo. Best game I've seen from Copley. Scoring is tough...

2. McGuire (best prop in the comp at the moment, on form at least)
2. Glenn (finding the form he started the season with)
1. Reed (just makes meters everytime he has the ball and is so often involved in tries)
1. McCullough (shit he is starting to look like Cameron Smith...)

Tough to miss out for Parker, Gillet, Wallace, Beale, Yow Yeh... Such a good performance all round.
