Developed modern city vs a country town

Coffs Harbour Wollongong Newcastle or central coast are similar and in civilisation
Gympie sounds a more appropriate name for Sydney and its folks. In fact they should let Qlnd govt run NSW, your own govt seems to be a bit sht

yeh we dont have anything as exciting as race riots, train strikes or dodging potholes, but you never know, maybe one day!
And with all our sunshine and ideal temps it is hell lol

yeh thats another thing that makes your city sht, people living in towers in little boxes in clogged up urban dumps. whilst in perth we live in spacious houses with gardens and near the beach.

Balmain to Allianz 9km
Manly to Allianz 16km
Belmore to Allianz 19km
Kogorah to Allianz 15km

Apparently this is too hard in Sydney. Sht place if that's true.
You do know that supporters don’t live in the suburb the clubs home ground is?
eg. I now live 10kms south of Campbelltown, no longer in the St George area. Campbelltown to Allianz is (from Google) 54.2kms. Which is a bitch to get to and from for anything outside of Sat or Sun arvo games.
To go to WIN Stadium is probably the same difference or a bit more. But to go by train requires us to go through to Redfern or William Creek and back down. The opposite home which is a nightmare for an evening game. 2 buses a day from C’town to the Gong. So we drive.

Hopefully if the Gong A League team gets up WIN may get an update. It is a Govt owned stadium.

A Canadian mate nailed the perfect description of Perth for me. Last capital city he visited after living here for 15 years.
“Perth is like Adelaide. Only with no culture.”
Someone recently described Sydney to me as 'same problems as London but much shtter'. Sounded a fair description.

Im not suggesting Allianz as an alternative to WIN stadium lol. WIN does need finishing one day though.

It does look like Canberra and Auckland will come into the A League in 2024/25. While in 2025/26, two teams could come out of either Brisbane, Gold Coast, Wollongong, Tasmania, Adelaide or Perth.
