Morgan provides that flexibility on the bench that you don't have with adding Dylan Napa.

Massive risk if we go in with 4 forwards and cop an injury in the backs. That said I'd support whatever decision they make. If anything Gillett should buy a lottery ticket, and his Origin past performances haven't been that great anyway.

It's easy enough to go through the teams histories and name players not born in the states they represented. For example, Peter Sterling, Ken Nagas, Willie Mason.... Origin was created in 1980 so that QLD would have all it's players instead of having to play against them. Hell NSW Blues are even trying to claim Beetson as a "true blue" now, he'd tell them where to go if he was still alive, thankfully his family and foundation are telling them where to go.

This. Everyone are merkins, some of the merkins from NSW are merkins from somewhere else and some of the QLDers are merkins from somewhere else. Some of those merkins are homegrown merkins. Every single one of those merkins wants to play for their state with their fellow merkins. If they'd wanted to play for the other state with the other merkins, they would've.
