did you forget the ‘stop wasting money on afl states” comments? Great way to engage your fanbase in those states!
You mean you. Nobody else over their watches RL closely enough to have heard those comments from PV.

You're like a broken record when it comes to bitching about PVL and Trump.did you forget the ‘stop wasting money on afl states” comments? Great way to engage your fanbase in those states!
It looks immature, Trump’esk, unprofessional and not befitting the games leader. But yeh the Sydney rednecks will love it so all good eh?
the question you should ask is “does this benefit or harm rugby league?” Looks to me that all it does is Harm it, so you have to ask why he keeps doing it? Nsw racing agenda maybe? Can’t believe so many people have the wool pulled over their eyes by this guy and his conflicts of interest, but then Again Trump made President so I guess we should never uNder estimate the stupidity of the masses!
Amen! You mean you. Nobody else over their watches RL closely enough to have heard those comments from PV.
Perth Red isn't ARLC Chairman.Insulting the heartland by referring to its fans as 'rednecks' does nothing for the game in the non-RL states.
Good grief. If you think Hillary was a better candidate than Trump then you're mad. Trump has done wonders for the economy and lowered the unemployment rate, especially amongst the African-American community. Hillary is a corrupt war criminal and belongs in a prison cell.
If you get pissed off and alienated by these comments then you're a soft c**k who probably watches ABC and rides a scooter to your vegan coffee shop.
That's nice PR, but one off events drawing 20,000 don't prove shit. A full time team in Perth isn't going to average 20,000 a game when it is holding 12 games each year, year after year. The monotony of going to the ground every fortnight, 12 times a year, year after year, wears support pretty thin.
How much money did the various Victorian Govs invest in grassroots RL between 1998 and 2020?there’s a certain irony in the month the afl gets the qlnd Govt to provide massive support to their game and strengthening that relationship, that Vlandys chooses this moment to come out and insult Victoria and pss of a major stakeholder in rugby leagues future growth!
No doubts the deluded on here will blame the Vic govt in future for not supporting RL and call them afl centric lol.
I've always been of the opinion that Perth should be at least 5th or 6th spot for expansion.
Just to piss off this dickhead. ^^
Why do you think there was a significant drop off? We had consistent growth and sell outs for years, what changed I wonder? Maybe all those fans just decided to stop following rl, where grabbed by aliens or eaten by sharks? Or maybe the way the nrl treats perth is coming home to roost? The. Again 39k at the double header couple of years ago might suggest not?
Vlandys comments on the eve of the nines certainly didn’t help ticket sales that’s for sure!
Well said.If Perth was serious about demanding an NRL team they would get someone to relocate. Even if the Bears relocated and played in the NSW cup from Perth it would make their admission way more likely.
It seems selfish to demand a brand new team while at the same time being aware you aren't going to be producing any actual RL players for many years and instead just doing the same thing the Storm have done.
And the reason for that is the players themselves don't want expansion yet as they believe it will dilute the quality. I believe in the final round the dragons only played with 16 as they couldn't rustle up a full team due to injuriesForget Perth. The time zone and extra travel make it logistically and financially difficult. Go where the strength is - Brisbane 2 & 3.
PVL interview on ABC today - only thing to report was no expansion of women’s comp for a while.
