JDB was the benchmark 13 before Yeo was in the picture. It was the ball playing he was good at and got him to origin with his defence. That’s what differentiated him from other 13s at that moment because he could defend, attack and had good passing game.
Didn’t he at one point even play at 6 for a game, it surely wasn’t because of his running game. It’s because he had a good attract and pass.
