Swapping the wingers seems to have helped things slightly thank God.

Standard game plan, standard result.

5 runs with little impact or variety, then a nothing kick. We make having the football look like a chore that needs completing, rather than opportunity. Cuthbertson the only forward to even slightly concern the opposition.

Is the effort there? Sure, it's there. We're just an utterly useless football team with easily the worst forward pack in the comp regardless of who's fit. Having Scott out just makes us even worse.

So what it's going to be - heartbreaking defeat after a spirited fightback or crushing defeat as our heads drop and the Warriors gain in confidence? It's a lottery, but this time around I'll say the latter with Johnson carving us to pieces in the final 20 minutes.

Townsend has been finding space to easily off his kicks and our forwards with the exception of Sims and Cuthbo have been soft there is no two ways about it, there soft. Roberts needs to improve his defense big time.

I think his pride would always prevent that, but I think it's fair to say he's too stubborn to admit we are so far off the pace of the game in 2014 that we might as well do something different just to see what happens.

I'd love us to just come out one game and play with real intent, get the forwards passing to each other, encourage the offload and support play, chip chase when it's a planned move not a panicked decision to get us out of trouble, put up huge hail mary bombs and chase them hard, and most importantly go wide with momentum not just for the hell of it.

How much worse could things really get if took the handbrake off and played some football? I'll cop the errors, just play some freakin football.
