This crowd isn't going to be too flash.

Theres a thunderstorm over Auckland now and the forecast is pretty poor. I think there is even some hail coming down.

Panthers imo but both teams are inconsistent, i initially picked Penrith but now after hearing what the weather is like maybe the Warriors since they were ok in the rain last week.

The two most inconsistent teams in the comp going head to head ;-)

Absolutely no idea who's going to win this one, but the weather is swinging me towards the Warriors. Though the only time the Panthers win is when they're not meant to.

Warriors to win Penalty count 12 to 4
Panthers to win Error count 21 to 13

Warriors to win game 24 to 6.

We're using a two forward bench against a massive forward pack. Warriors have Steve Price. We're screwed. Need a 4 forward bench, not a centre, a utilty and 2 forwards.

The concert afterwards should help - but the weather is complete sh*t.

Panthers have an excellent record against the Warriors in recent years (mind you, who doesn't?) Whoever loses this game should be banned from making the top 8

Was hail/thunder earlier but skies have cleared. Crowd might be boosted by free with match ticket concert after (shihad). Still a bit cold. Right now its showing 12 degrees, feels like 10 with wind. By match time that should fall well into single digits. I'm picking Warriors. Last 2 weeks they have only conceded 6 points, plus they have Pricey.

Not enough penalties for a Steve Clark match
Penrith will get between a half and a third of whatever the Warriors do.

We wont hold the ball long enough for the Warriors to give away too many penalties.

We have a great record against them. But we had a great record against the Tigers, and still lost to them, in dry conditions.

Weather is awful. But hey, it's FNF, we're coming off a win, and there's a free concert afterwards, so ffs hopefully it'll be a decent crowd

I think Daniela and Peters being on the bench is a good tactic.

The Warriors forwards are big, and some of them struggle to move laterally in the defensive line. Peters IMO is the best hooker at the club, watch for him to get out from dummy half alot and create oppurtunities with his footwork and skill.

Late in the game expect to see Lewis or Jennings shift to 5/8,Blair to lock and Daniela into the centres.

Who knows whats going to happen with these two teams. I will say it should be an enjoyable game to watch if both sides start throwing the ball around a bit. Sounds like it'll be a bit wet over there and Penrith's record in the wet lately is terrible.

LATE MAIL

New Panther Richie Williams has been culled to PL.
Warriors appear to be as per program although that's to be confirmed.
