With 60% possession , no wonder we looked alright at the end.

Lets not kid ourselves, this was a disgraceful effort overrall. Apart from Vaivai, Matarora, Tapine and K Sims, the rest were appalling.

11 losses out of the last 12, Matt Gids and the Board need to step in and stand Stone down immediately.

Just saw the dressing room with Stone talking to the players. Hardly anyone was listening

Attack looks worst with Mullen back.
He plays too structure too much.
Need Mamo or Gagai back in the 1.

Mullen was the only attack we really had, lol. Thought he went alright for a bloke who hasn't run, much less played much for 10 weeks. He's obviously still hampered by the injury, winces when he kicks the ball and doesn't chase much. Started to come good in the second half.

Yes, because the side over the last 11 games has proven that they're excellent with no structure....

If Hodkinson allows Mullen to get his hands on the ball more often then we'll be a f**king fine attacking team next year. For his first game back in so long and in a vastly different team, I thought he did well. Took him a bit to get into the game but he looked great by the end.

Vaivai, Sims brothers, Tapine, Mataora and Smith were fantastic tonight. Really highlights the difference in attitude compared to Snowden and Fa'alogo. Vaivai obviously still has a bit to go with his fitness but when he reaches his best he'll be f**king phenomenal IMO. What we've wanted for so long could very well be already here; just needs a little more work.

Our left edge though needs something done. Moving Sione to the wing was the right call, he didn't look too bad but Jimmy just isn't fit to be inside.

Shit night but I saw some positives. Clearly there's a major attitude problem with some players in the middle and we're getting exposed far too often there.
Really picking on Snowden? He had the best stats of any forward on the field. Vai Vai and Tapine need to start give the remainder of the year, this is the Tapine I've been telling people about and to be honest there were a few times he made half a break or would be standing in a tackle but there'd be no support player within the same post code.

We looked 10x better when Mullen got involved and lost every bit of momentum when Roberts took the last tackle options or Gidley f**ked up.

Mullen certainly wasn't the issue. The issue was bringing Roberts back and then going one step worse and moving Gidley to fullback as well and getting rid of Mamo.

Whenever he runs, it's like he doesn't care, he isn't putting any effort in. There were maybe three, four hitups where he actually made an impact compared to Vaivai who seemed to bend the line every second one he took. I'd accept it if it really was his best effort, but I just don't get that feeling. When I look at how well Korbin, Vaivai and Mataora hit the line, It makes me wonder if it's best to move him to the bench.

I also thought it was really telling how much better we looked when Levi came on and how shit we immediately looked when he went off. Randall is just as much of a momentum killer as Gidley and Roberts...although his brain snaps aren't nearly as spectacular. I'm not surprised we had so much possession and so many offloads but still couldn't capitalise when 75% of our spine are gifted at nothing but immediately destroying any kind of promise or momentum.

Is it just me or does Randell have one of those faces where he looks like he's gonna burst into tears any second, almost 100% of the time?

Er WTF??
Knights had no trouble scoring points when Mullen was out
Its their defense that has been letting them down.
Tonight showed even with 60% of the ball attack looked like shittt.
Mullen is still in the best Knights 17 every week but for mine he's still over thinks too much and I thought the Knights attack look worst with him back.
It could also be just Gidley moving back to fullback. He looked ok in the 7 the last few weeks..

It's just you.

We looked good when Mullo had the ball, but our 1,7&9 were awful.

A lot of our team is shit. Some of the youngsters looked pretty good though. Unfortunately our 1, 7 & 9 are the ultimate dubious campaigners and our 6 is underdone.

Stone in the press conference said Roberts had a really good game tonight and showed he is a NRL quality half.

The bloke has no idea.
