Luai at fullback was a dreadful call. May at 1 next week please we simply can't carry bums like Crichton any longer. Yes May might struggle with match fitness but at least he's a first grader
You'd think DWZ might be OK for next week, in which case, as someone already suggested, Whare could go to the wing with Peachey at centre and May on the bench. Peachey looked sharp in this game, not surprising since he's had so little footy recently.

Peachey was definitely more direct this time which was nice. More of that and less sideways and he tends to impact games a lot.

I’d play Peach in 13, JFH or Merrin back to the bench.

Or I’d run the same side. We need some sort of continuity to build partnerships. We haven’t had any the last 3 months. Surely We can’t play that bad again.

That’s my thought exactly. The group has been pulled apart and rebuilt with different combinations. Any team would struggle.

Jimmy is a massive competitor and he is the best judge of his form. He’s said he’s been poor. I’d trust the guy to come good. He’s a winner and with come continuity we will start winning again.

Brisbane played a perfect 35 minutes to start last nights game. 20/21 sets, 6-1 penalty count, bounce of the ball, bunker decisions, 50-50 calls, Sutton as ref.
If the Broncos were ever going to put a score on it was then.
The boys never gave up and put on 3 good tries in the second half when the possession was more even, and could have had a few more.
They are still in the eight, and are still finals bound.

What else is he going to say after giving up 50? And putting in one of the most gutless dogshit performances I’ve ever seen from a captain? I’d be happy to piss him off now and letpeach or may play out the season we aren’t winning anything anyway.

Hook is a shit coach who won’t get it done.

What Maloney said in the Press Conference is down right disturbing. Not being worried after the team put in a completely gutless performance, with him being by far the worst player and COMPLETLY failing to LEAD as Captain.

We are just awful at appointing Captains. Wallace was the only decent choice we have made in the last few seasons but he was busted and at careers end.

We’ll make the finals, but what looked like a top 4 finish is mostly likely going to be 6th to 8th, that should concern everyone. Would mean no improvement again.

Yet we still conceded 8 tries.

With the injuries and disruptions we have had this year it has been a remarkable effort to get to this position.
Any other club would be doing cartwheels and celebrating this, but here we seem to just tear ourselves apart.
