Jimmy was tremendous tonight, for sure. Nothing glamorous about him, but he illustrated his value to the team tonight for sure.

Yeah I don't reckon Scott did much wrong. Very little wrong with the tackle if Houston didn't lift him.

To give a compliment on the win. Congrats on there tru grit to come back from that shitty reffing and stupendous penalties we gave away. How the Cows didn't put us to bed I don't know!! But well done on the defence.

I really hope Stone makes a change to bring in Vain Vai next week. Fa'alongo seriously can't keep him out. Two games is enough to make the change. I hope Tapine played a stronger game this weekend. Otherwise brace for Houston to stay until Tariq is back.

Stone won't drop Gids to bench. It's that simple. Not in one game. So forget complaining about it. Sione played solid but it did show his position is not fullback. Which makes a little more comfortable if Gags leaves so Sione can take the Center position. I really would like to see Ross get a go a full back eventually. He has started the year superbly and looked liked he had another great game today for Cup.

Whole team guilty of silly penalties. That needs to nipped in the but real quick. Because any team, including the Titans will exploit us soon if we keep that crap up.

2-0 looks nice on the ladder. Important wins for end of year. Keep the ball rolling.

We'll improve in all areas as the year continues. Plenty of poor reads, missed tackles, players getting sloppy and hanging on due to match fitness. Showing positive signs now in defense shows this is an area that we're going to do well in for 2015 and another reason to be excited.

Not every team will start the season on fire and considering one has been playing footy since February and the other pushing the limits of the salary cap, it shouldn't be a surprise. I'm glad we have the Titans next week before Penrith. Another game to shake any cobwebs and set up an absolute blockbuster that should show where we stand going forward.

As for Scott, well when any superstar of the game gets a bump it's going to be looked harshly upon. His late hit was not needed and throw in his effort for the following report, he'll cop a week. I don't think you can blame him too much given all he was doing was trying to get JT to the ground; Houston should and most likely be looked at more given he lifted the leg.

Stone is looking class. We don't have amazing players so he has focused on defence and fitness. We seem very solid in defence and we kept going the whole 80 while the cowboys gave up at their home ground. Really working to our boys strengths, instead of Bennett style and forcing a style that isn't natural for many of our players.

Furthermore, he took off Gids. Not an easy call to make 2nd game into the season. Right call, right time.

Houston and Fa'alogo need to be dropped. One of them will go for sure when Tariq comes. Korbin and Snowden were very good today considering how little the other forwards offered.

Mullen didn't have an amazing game but was instrumental. His kick off the scrum, went to support and spread the ball well. Both the other tries, the play broke down, he was there lurking around to set up tries. Doesn't look class compared to some other halves in the comp but is quality.

I agree with everything here Yosh.

They did well (well most of them). When it turned into an arm wrestle the opposition gave up and we didn't.

You can build your side around that.

It's easy to defend against pure impotence. Let's see how we defend against the Roosters, Souths, Dogs, etc before we get too excited about our defence. So far we've held out a Warriors team who can't win round 1, and a Cowboys team that would have surely been beaten by a Knights Forum XVII. It's good that we held them out, we bloody well should have. If we hadn't - we'd be in the real deep stuff.

Panthers are another team that would have put on a clinic against us tonight. We need to be much, much better... and the best place to start improving is the bench at this point. Absolutely dreadful from our bench tonight. Our halves need to get their shit together big time, too. Mullen seems to think he's out there for trick shots at the moment, and I'm not sure Tyrone even knows why he's out there at all half the time.

Having said that, props to Tyrone's hands... his hands are magic. I've lost count of how many grubbers and half-chips he's cut off before they reach the in-goal. He's like a ninja in that regard.

I bags being Scott. I'm not much of an 'enforcer' but I wouldn't mind trying to piss off that little bitch Thurston for 80 minutes. Maybe 10 minutes, don't think I can go the 80.

Jesus you'd think we lost going on these comments. We went to NQ, beat them at home, despite some farcical refereeing decisions in the first half. I thought it was an outstanding win. We aren't the Roosters or Souths...we're not gonna produce flawless 80 min performances. That win was pure guts. Everytime we tackles JT the refs looked for a penalty. Every 50/50 went there way especially I the first half. Snowden was epic. Seriously sometimes I think we're so used to losing people can't spot positives. We went on one of the hardest road trips in the comp, were comfortably the better side, got molested by the refs and still came home with 2 points.

I'm actually really happy I watched the game because I would have assumed we'd lost if I'd just looked here after the game.

An outstanding win? I've heard it all now. How far we have fallen to consider that win "outstanding"... goodness me.

That match is an early contender for worst match of the year.

You obviously didn't watch Broncos vs Sharks last night. We haven't been 2-0 for 4 years but by all means be doom and gloom. It's not like we were sizeable outsiders in both games...oh wait. It's not like we were down in both games...oh wait. FFS before the season started everyone was negative as shit. We start 2-0 against 2 teams likely to be top 8 and everyone still has a burr up their ass.

LOL @ the Cows press conference.

They spent the whole 10 minutes bitching about how JT copped a load of treatment. But ultimately the main impairment he copped was a bloody accident.

They blamed the whole loss on it!

Suck it you sooks!!
