Still pissed about this game. We blew it.

Oh and Kurt to 13 when he returns, wither Scott or Rochow to bench. We need a goal kicker out there at all times.

Is he ever coming back? Has anybody seen him recently? I think he's died and they're just not telling us :sarcasm:

That was a great game still win/loss or draw. I think there was equal patches of brilliance from both teams and I would say for a 5 day turnaround against the rooters. NC stepped up and did their fans proud tonight. The game was there for either team to take and we both just didn't have the execution.

I know you guys hate Broncos and their "smug" fanbase. Honestly that's not Brisbane fans, thats just assholes who happen to like football. Best of luck with the season and I just know it will come down to round 25 between us so looking forward to it boys.

Man Uate can carry a ball back btw! -jeezarz!

More off your rocker not supporting a decent goal kicker in the team. Roberts is off his kicking and we need a vbackup.
Gagai is a great player and, at this stage, I'd rate him higher than Manatello BUT we need a goal kicker!

We need Gagais try set ups and relief running more than we need a goal kicker mate. You are advocating the dumping of one of our most potent weapons for a guy who can kick goals. Roberts is good enough until Gids returns.

If we ran out with those changes last night we lose the game not draw it. This is not Union ffs

Sharks beat Warriors. Cowboys are smacking the Rabbits. Yay............ :( i swear this is a conspiracy to do us over. It's like quick let's hit form so Newy miss the finals.

Sharks weren't impressive for the majority of the game. If we can show up and play like we did last week against the Roosters, then we should beat them. Their wingers and centers aren't exactly threatening in defense but can be when Carney is on his game.

I really thought Brisbane were great last night. They squared up and their defense was top notch. It was just our defense in vital moments of the game that let us down.

On the bright side, a Sharks win has kept us in the 8.

Strangely enough I was thinking the opposite. It keeps us technically in the 8 right now, but my long term prediction is that Warriors will still sneak into the finals and the Sharks, with their hard draw and all the ASADA dramas to the surface again, might have been the team we can hold out.

If you rule out everyone from 10th (Panthers/Titans) down, it means only one of Sharks, Bulldogs, Raiders, Knights and Warriors is going to miss out. And personally I thought the Sharks shaped up as the most likely if they had lost yesterday.

All will be revealed, but I'm not convinced just staying in the 8 for the moment will end up being the best result for us after round 26.

Either way we absolutely must beat the Sharks. With the Storm hitting top gear again and very likely to put the sword through us the following week, we can't afford not to grab the 2 points against the Sharks. 5 dropped points to the Dragons and Broncos in 3 games this season is very frustrating.

As far as top 8 goes The Storm handed us a huge leg up by destroying Canberra. No more smugness from Raiders fans me thinks. For and against now looks a lot better. It must be emphasised The Storm's season is a mirror image of last year. They are ready to rumble. Exactly what i had hoped for. If we can beat them i believe it will propel us into the finals with momentum. We pushed The Roosterrs like few teams have this year. We are close guys. Real close to being the thorn noone wants to face in the finals. Cronulla are for the taking. I just would prefer to play out of form Sharks and Cowboys sides cos it would mean we have a bit of leway should we lose to Melbourne.

Interesting fact I think, our draw with the Broncos is the first time Bennett hasn't lost to teams he used to coach.

Our two losses to the Dragons were unacceptable and crucial, they were leg less both times but we managed to steal defeat both times.

This season will be more about what could have been considering some of the rubbish we have dished up and the points we have p*ssed away.

In all fairness, I thought the Dragons played pretty well when we played them away from home.
