frustrating we could not get the 2 points but a draw is just as handy. aiming for 29 points, sharks a must win

all our backs and mullen made nearly 200 m each. tetevano 9 runs 130 m 29 tackles 1 miss. cuthbertson 22 runs 185 m 27 tackles 0 misses. houston 12 runs 132 m 42 tackles 2 misses. both should make our full strength side imo howzo has been playing well for the last month +

That was a pretty terrible performance by us. Scott should've been pulled after he got injured, a few crucial missed tackles from him.
I really don't understand why, after scoring fairly simply early on after making a big break down our left, we continue to go to Gags and Aku. Sure have a few goes to them but stick with a winning formula (even though Jimmy was out).

I'm really hoping that was a one off performance (for this late in the season) after a quick turnaround and a big game last Sunday. If we keep playing like we did tonight, we are no chance of the 8. Even with our pretty good run home, we're no certainties.

Don't know whether to say congratulations or commiserations on draw guys, might settle for comgraserations. I thought your boys started both halves with the right attitude but a few mental lapses let you down.

I've only caught the past two Knights games so you'll have to forgive me but is it fair to say Scott has been a colossal disappointment post-injury? I remember him starting the year reasonably well but tonight I thought he was dreadful for you guys. Gifted us two tries with weak efforts and even bombed a golden opportunity when the Knights were flinging the ball around like it was a hot potato.

Think both teams have a bunch of 'if only' moments - we also shared two teams who gave everything they could to win tonight. By no means a great performance by either side, but the desperation shown was certainly admirable.

Best of luck guys for the rest of the season and lay off Gagai a bit hey? He has his weak spots but the kid sure can pull off some clutch plays. Work in progress but when he comes good he'll be unstoppable.

After such a massive game against the roosters I'm not surprised we looked flat at times. By no mean our best performance but not our worst an in times gone by we loose there. 2 things however that stood out to me our 2 experienced back rowers hurt us the most Scott gave away a silly penalty that left us defending 2-3 extra sets an smiths error cost us a try. The ruck was also a joke for both teams it killed us wat where the refs doing??

He was on one leg after the 10th minute. Got injured in a tackle and flung his arm straight up for help. Shouldn't have stayed on the field.

Wasn't good seeing 1 million plus of our salary cap sitting up in the coach's box either... If we had them, we would have won that game.

frustrating we could not get the 2 points but a draw is just as handy.

We were already in front of teams with the same number of wins because of our excellent F/A, the draw does nothing.

If the warriors beat the Sharks today we might need 31 points.

Broncos are a good side. Are we forgetting this the NRL. Struck match between 15 sides as Parra are abysmal. Happy with the draw. Two things. Gower needs to be halfback. Kurt to 14 when he returns. The way Gower moved the team was fluid. Tyrone was very good and the tackle to put Oates into touch was brilliant. I just don't know where Tyrone fits in after Gower showed his class last night. Great place to be in though as far as options on Kurt's return. His injury though is healing slowly.

What a difference to the team when Gower went to half.

He organised the play and got the team moving forward which largely played a part in our comeback to score those last 2 tries.

We had a multitude of opportunities to win that game. The Broncs aren't a wooden spoon side but they are cannon fodder for most of the better sides. You can forgive Beau Scott for one poor defensive miss but not two. Unless the Sharks capitulate over the next week with the ASADA fiasco we will struggle to get over them at Shark Park. Can't see us beating Melbourne and I think the Cowboys will be an each way bet.

If we couldn't beat the Broncos at home how are we going to get over them at Suncorp?

Still pissed about this game. We blew it.

Oh and Kurt to 13 when he returns, wither Scott or Rochow to bench. We need a goal kicker out there at all times.

It is the one that got away.

I know that we had a short turnaround which might have made us flat but we lacked intensity for 70 minutes of the game and Brisbane were desperate.

I'll take a draw before a loss but it's not a lot of help right now.

Tough decisions coming up because the team tempo lifted when Gower went to half.

The less said about the goal kicking, field and otherwise, the better, we did have a number of chance, I agree with Macavity, we need a recognized goal kicker at all times. I reckon Gower rushed his first kick because he knew they needed to score again, a little more time taken and the result could have been different.

I also want to add that I thought House was very good again, he has really stepped up.

And finally, the Broncos were allowed to get away with anything in the play the ball, they were slowing them down constantly, we really struggled to get any quick play the balls.

Ultimately the draw does nothing. As already mentioned, our F/A was setting us apart from everyone else on the same amount of points.

The draw means we probably need to win an extra game. We've got five games left and 29 points may be enough, but 31 will. Four wins from five, with a game against the Storm and away trips to Cronulla, Brisbane and Townsville all to come.

Precarious.

28 is usually enough to get a finals position, 29 and good F/A should work in their favour. I can see a win against the Cowboys (at least) and if the Storm don't improve from their recent drop I can see a win against them, too. The Knights are due a win against that lot again...

But for and against won't matter if we're on an odd number of points. Unless we somehow catch the Storm which isn't going to happen.

Exactly, our for and against could be -100 it wouldnt make a difference now as we are on an odd number.

I am not very confident making the 8 now. We desperately need some troops back if we are to be any chance of sneaking in

That Golden Point display was pretty embarrassing really. Dumb option after dumb option. Can't believe we didn't try to kick a field goal on the 2nd - 4th tackle when we had a set on their line...

I cant remember a golden point period where we havent dropped our bundle..... we are plain terrible in that situation.

poor game, with an average result and some good individual signs.

I see Zane's stats were impressive, but he was a liability in defence in the 10-20 minute period of the game. He took 3-4 tackles to get onside when we had the ball, and in defence he was never back 10, so we were constantly retreating.

Tetevano was doing that last week against the roosters. It seems when he gets a bit tired he makes no effort to get back onside like all the other players. It's the type of stuff you would see in a Local c grade comp

Jarrod should have chipped off the scrum feed to Aku in the dying minutes. The defence was always going to rush him. Curious why Gower did not have a crack at field goal either.
