Yeah, I totally agree with 1qaz about showstopper, he's a sheep!

I also totally agree that Dane Gagai is the best player in the Knights squad.

I agree as well that Dane is my cousin.

Gagai came out of the line trying to pull of a miracle tackle. If it had worked we would have praised him but it is very unlikely to work.
I agree totally that Gagai needs work on his defence. I'm not going to shoulder the responsibility totally on Gagai and Uate, however. Players inside and the whole defensive structure on the edge of the ruck is also part of the problem.

100% Joker. Was using the phone to post. Always stuff up somehow when using it for LU.

1qaz has gone too far with the still frames. Dane made the wrong decision (again) and put pressure on others (again). They had numbers to cover that but sprinting up out of the line and hoping (for something, not sure what) just isn't good enough and it can't be sold any other way.

If he has no clue what to do when defending then there's only two choices: NSW Cup or play fullback.

If he is ill disciplined then there's only two choices - NSW Cup or the new coach tell him the way it's going to be if playing at centre and if he doesn't respond then fullback (apparently he wants to play centre but tough shit).

You guys wonder why your team is running last when you have die hard Knights supporters like Joker Wild, Spot On, Frederick, Zoidberg having NFI how slide defense works.

This doesn't even make any sense.

Yeh but the point is Gagai shouldn't have rushed up like that when it was 3 on 2. He could of stayed back more and then slid with Aku.

If Dane slides out on to Jennings, Hastings would've ran it hard straight at Randell putting Cordner or RTS untouched.

He rushed up way before that was an issue.

Exactly. He had no reason to rush up. They would have covered the play easily had he stayed in the line. He misread who was going to receive the ball and a try was scored as a result of his misread.

Randall was never on Hastings your own stills show he is at least a couple of metres inside Randall.

The issue started when Scott was caught up with Napa.
Scott is then too slow to get across to Hastings.
Do you see how wide the gaps are between Scott and Randell, Randell and Dane, Dane and Uate?
Now look at how narrow the gap is between Smith and Scott.
All because the inside man Scott is too slow to get across.

Thank you, come again.

Dane had already made his mind up to shoot out and go for an intercept which didn't exist by the time Hastings got the ball.

Yeah because the defensive line was in all sorts as a result of Scott being too lazy/slow to get across to Randell.
Randell was up against Hastings on his inside, Cordner on his right shoulder, and RTS out the back.
If you look at the first frame, Scott and Smith are side by side, when Scott should be out on Hastings already forcing Randell, Dane and Uate to spread the defensive line..

You're deadset f**king geniused 1qaz.

Bloke had a bad game. Stop trying to clutch at every f**king straw to make it seem like it was everyone else's fault. Carries as much blame for the poor defence on the edge as everyone else on that side.
