You know what I love about this team?

We stick to the gameplan, play boring as batshit footy, and then, with three minutes to go and down by 20 points, we throw the game plan out and start throwing the footy around!

one of the worst decisions I've seen in a long time , Kade was just standing there. If he gets 1 week for that I'll be outraged. My internet ( I'm streaming) wasn't good at the time ....who decided the send off ? The video ref ? or on field ?

Watched the replay of the sendoff. It was so soft. Hopefully it reduces the suspension by a week tho. Byt given the guy probably has a broken jaw, Snowie probably has carryover points I dont like our chances at the mrp.

Get Willie back next week, but prob lose Snowy, good stuff.

Make no mistake tho, refs didnt lose us this game, we were ordinary all night. Had the feeling all night that I'm getting on the bandwagon of bringing Gower into number 7.

14-6 down, big spread to the left, 3 on 1, all roberts has to do is find BJ and we score but he throws it to someone in the crowd instead

we dont deserve to make the eight and i hope we don't so things get shaken up, and bennett doesn't get a bonus for dishing up borefests

A couple of points.

Utterly predictable result, not surprised and frankly i'm not even upset. I feel like a lot on the forum, slowly but surely the enjoyment is being sucked out of the game. It's a number of things, our performance over an extended period of time, the farcical standard of referring and a nagging belief that certain teams and players are untouchable and the rest are just there to make up the numbers.

Also I am over the Bennett era, we have a better roster, more resources and a team that is still rubbish, at some point people need to be accountable and frankly no one in the club is. Where is the CEO, Chairman, advisory board or owner asking tough questions.

Finally and I have said this a number of times, our roster for next year is the same so how do we expect things to be any different.

We've had periods this year where we've been all class and completely flawless but have also had moments where we've dug deep in both defence and attack. It's there and I do believe that we can get consistency in those areas. Mullo is getting better and better under Bennett and he'll peak within the next two year, despite tonight not being a good example of his improvement.

It's there, the ability to be one hell of a side, it's just lost under inconsistency.

And Slot, we lose Bedsy but we should gain Clydsdale, someone myself and I assume many believe will go onto great things.

I guarentee you if it was Billy Slater or Cameron Smith or Greg Inglis or any of the other Golden boys of the NRL it would've gone through to the keeper.

Also I'd love to see the legality of the $10,000 fine policy tested in court

The issue is that there's been times like against the Saints twice where we are beyond embarrassingly bad. This isn't a new team or structure, Bennett has had two years to get it right and still hasn't.

The most damning thing for me is that Stone did better with far less.

What kills me is that we can aim up to Melbourne and be legless against the cowboys a week later.

Also, Snowden will get killed at the judiciary, nothing surer, he will pay the price for Burgess getting a slap on the wrist, the light sentence for SBW and all the other farcical decisions. The NRL will make an example of him because he's not a superstar and is therefore expendable.

To be fair, there has been a hell of a lot more work needed to turn us into a premiership winning side. I don't think Wayne would have won it with the Dragons had Storm won points throughout the year, so I do believe we're getting a head of ourselves in that regard.

Roberts is the key. Sounds odd I know, but he fails to structure the team and create space for Mullo and the backs. I want to keep him because I think his awareness is incredibly unique, but if he can't improve, then we won't go anywhere.

We've got the grit in Smith and Scott, some of the best and lethal backs in the game, it's just we've got Boyd who doesn't get involved when needed (Credit to him tonight though on his efforts) and too much is thrown on Mullo to create the opportunities. The Cowboys are a good example of struggling to find the right bloke for a particular position.

Inconsistency is killing us and our chances, but that will come. We're improving and will continue to improve.

Roberts needs to go NSW cup for a while. I like the bloke but he just hasn't produced at all against decent teams. Gower is the obvious choice at 7 and should of been ages ago. also our attack is flat, terribly flat. Our stock standard backline sweep with Boyd isn't going to work if we are flat

I give up with this game. Not just this game, this game I used to love, rugby league.

Same here. A couple of years ago I always enjoyed going down to my local sports club around Sunday lunch to catch the two foxsports games followed by the Nein game. I haven't bothered the past two seasons due to a range of factors like poor officiating, poor commentary, too much wrestling, the favourite teams getting away with murder and many teams just being flat-out boring and robotic. I actually enjoy taking my girlfriend out shopping now instead, at least she doesn't sh*t me like NRL games and commentators do these days.

I've become a lot happier person since I lost most of my interest in rugby league.
