I was at the game and keenly watching Lomax and Hunt during the warm-ups and not once did I see them talk to each other, make eye contact or acknowledge each other even just now on the defensive drills holding the bags together. If anyone tells you that we are not a divided team tell them to go to the doctor's. This is not a good sign to me and if I was coaching I would not have let it get to this stage. I'll continue to watch the two of them during the game. When Lomax scored Hunt managed to pat him on the head when Hunt scored what looked at the time to be the match winner Lomax didn't even congratulate him and missed an easy conversion kick that eventually cost us the match. Yesterday I bumped into half the team at Pacific Fair shopping centre just wandering around not on any official duties. My question is where was the other half of the team. Make no mistake to my eye this team is divided and are not playing for the coach
The Hunt Lomax tiff has been obvious for all to see from the season start .Just have a feeling that the Hunt domino may fall as well if/when Hook gets his marching orders
Im sure the Dolphins Titans or Cowboys would be eager to nab him , in that situation

Don't get me wrong if Hunt wasn't in our team we would be favourites for the spoon. But this coach has mistreated and ignored too many players in our top 30 to make us successful

Agree mate. Wait til we play the tigers. We’ll make Brooks look like a young Andrew Johns.
I was there the refereeing was atrocious and in my view certainly favoured the home team. In that melee when Faasumalavi stood over Sloan I saw Fifita run in and throw a punch and the 14 for the Titans throw a punch and they got the penalty. It should have never got to that because when Sloan diffused that bomb he had his foot on the try line. Disgusted with the referee

Referee Peter Gough AKA HOME TOWN REFEREE. Enough said.

I would bet this merkin will cain us in the penalties. I wouldn't be surprised if he puts a few of our boys in the sin bin.

Dragons will be playing against 14 on the field.
I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!
I just thought I would bump up this prediction to all you fools in denial.
Gough cained the Dragons in the penalty count 8 to 2. And put our player in the sin bin after reacting to the booing home crowd.
when you watched footy for over 50 years you get to understand who the home town referees are and who are the fair referees are.
referee Gough didn’t cost us the game but he made sure we would be punish for everything.

Lomax did congratulate Hunt after his try.

Was at a family function and just watched the replay.

We were sloppy in attack in the first have and should have been well ahead at halftime.

Many silly mistakes.

Our attack is very predictable.

Two ordinary teams.

Liddle failed to make a real impact and is not an 80 minute player.

Mbye had a couple of good runs but lacks creativity.

Molo ran extremely hard when on the field as did JDB, Coachman, Kerr, Sua and BMM.

Our side is slow and very dumb.

Too many home town penalties. No game awareness on short kick offs.

Zac Lomax misses a simple conversation.

Sullivan is a must in the 17.

I would drop Amone.

I would drop Mbye as soon as Connor Mulheison is eligible to be selected. We need a specialist hooker.

Reality is we need to hire a new coach and start the culling/recruitment process for 2024 asap.

As currently constructed and coached, this is a bottom 4 side.

I thought we played pretty well today. It was a bit one out and lacked creativity but it is the dragons.
They all had a crack, didn’t go their way but at least they weren’t embarrassed.
Just a question for the people, and I know he is the least of our worries, but does Fegai offer anything at all? I mean Rava is rocks and diamonds but he offers plenty, I feel like Fegai is very very ordinary….

Feargai seems the safest under a kick. If that counts?

Doubt it. I'd say most want hook gone but hunt is defending him like it's his dad.
I shuddered when I read Ben Hunt had decided to come out and reference the coach situation BEFORE this match. His comments would have carried a lot of weight if they were made post match post a solid win. Instead his timing had to, just had to create a distraction amongst the team while they were trying to prepare for the match. Says a bit about Hunt’s judgement and perhaps leadership.

With each passing week Griffin just comes across as cumbersome and stubborn, which may work at some levels but perhaps not in the modern NRL.

We had more fans than them.
Lomax missing the kick and not taking the kick off don't help.
We are our own worst enemies.

Valid point - this is kind of stuff he ( Hunt) should avoid like the plague. He has been around long enough to know better. Instead he has aligned himself to a dead duck.
