Watched the game in Northern Europe due to work, on a very poor Kayo coverage, (or bandwidth or something) so hard to give a comprehensive opinion.
However, a four converted try win over the dogs, I will take every time.
Mahoney - suck shit merkin
I stopped watching channel 9 cause the dickhead calling is exactly that and Johns and Fittler are both dumb merkins with no idea. But geez, listening to that merkin Voss today was tough. He’s such a massive flog.
Warren Smith is the best league caller t think.

Just re-watched the game this morning before going to work.

I think we are building nicely. I never felt nervous at the game even when the margin was still 12 point even with only 15 mins left.

Clearly there is still plenty of improvement and the dogs were dare I say it brave in defence.

Hands was solid still made a few errors but his defence is up to first grade standard and Hodgo's isnt so BA is going to have think about how to rotate those 2.

Would have been to have been 4-3 not 3-4 on the win-loss column but get through the Broncos on Friday then we really have some momentum to cash in the next 4-5 weeks and go on a roll.

I think Matto on that edge was outstanding. It's a shame that we don't have a 80 min hooker, but it is what it is. So next week we go back to a hooker on the bench and Doorey drops off.

Carty was great. The rest did their job, but could be anybody really. After Rnd 10 we might get some rotation there I think.

I think Jmaine needs to take a breath and not try so hard, as this has affected his game considerably the last few weeks, making lots of basic errors, in attack and defence.
Agree. I think he's trying a bit too hard. Just needs to take a breath and grow in to his NRL career. He's capable, just needs to pace himself

I don't recall a rookie going from NSW cup to pre-season to NRL as well as he as. So well done to him. Will Penisini maybe but has a forward just transitioned straight away ? Agree, he needs to slow down, but f**k me he's already better than 60% of NRL middles out there.

Good win yesterday, they didnt panic yesterday in defense and played a good style of football that really frustrated Canterbury. Thats something that we've struggled to do against them every now and then, and even when they put on the big hits against the forwards, Parra didnt hold back and kept going.

RCG was outstanding and should be one of the first props picked for NSW but definitely wont happen.

The halves did well yesterday, I though it was one of Brown's better games.

Gutho was everywhere and always looked comfortable under the high ball. A great captains performance.

Hands is why Arthur has picked him I notice the speed of the dummy half passing is a lot quicker.

Matto and Laine have made a huge difference and we definitely missed them in the early rounds.

I look forward to Friday, hopefully the boys rest up today, fly there early and get used the climate up there.

I dont know what it is with Parra games but Vossy is so irritating, him and Roach, they seem to go on about the smallest thing like yesterday and disagree with the obvious thing, like when Moses was impeded Voss was certain it was a try. Mate read the bloody rule book, you cant take out a defender, simple as. Roach probably didnt have a clue. These guys need glasses.

Also Ennis is so over excited about certain teams, you would think Cleary's field goal was the best thing in the game, yet Gamble's field goal was a lot better. Ennis said nothing about it.

Its hard to listen to commentators nowadays, not like the old Ch 9 and Fox sports days.

Did anyone hear the Lane interview after the game?? Chimpy Johns asked what was said between Reg and the Cauliflower eared midget. Lane said knowing them twos history it was probably colourful. Interlasting!!
Saw that this morning certainly interesting.

While i don't blame him for not getting on with the Penrith boys and Freddy is a tosspot for not picking him there in origin.

There must be something about Reg which rubs people off the wrong way behind the scenes perhaps.

We need to improve our completion rate and hit & stick.

The Broncos are a good side, but the Tits missed 40 tackles last week. Even in our most dogshit weeks this year we have only missed high 20's.

Good on the Broncos, they are on a roll and deserve success and had good wins vs Pennys and Dolphins. They also had wins agains some shitty teams like scrappy Cows, Dragons, Tigers and Tits. They dropped a game vs Raiders two weeks ago. Form side of the comp ? Are they ?
