This. Truer words have never been spoken.
Thanks mate which is why I like the idea that someone posted about going after TPJ. He would be amazing coming off the bench. I’d also go after Curtis Sironen and another Prop and let go of Makapillow, Greig, Ogden, Momoisea and the other prop that looks like Trent Elkin.

They are not good enough and have regressed. Greig is the only one I’d have second thoughts on.

It's Andy Patmore mate. He's the former NSW Blues coach who works for us now.

He is also Eel No. 521.

Well I would think he is up to his eyeballs in it and would be the main man that signs off on all our recruitment and retention activity no matter which of the two comps.

Look at his comments and I would say inferred involvement from our clubs own website. I would bet your left testicle that he is the ball and chain in these signing matters. He drags out almost every negotiation. He is the man that counts the $$$, so why would it be any different no matter what title someone else, who would be subservient and down the pecking order to him, has?

General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill welcomed the signing, the first three-year deal for the Eels NRLW team.

“Kennedy is such an important part of our women’s program and has shown what a leader she is both on and off the field,” O’Neill said.

“She brings energy and passion to our team and is a mentor to our younger players coming through our Elite Pathways system.

“On top of her immense talent on the field, she also dedicates her time to charities close to her heart, which earned her the Veronica White Medal in 2022 for her outstanding work in the community. She’s a wonderful ambassador for our club and game.”

We need an outside back as priority 1 and a prop as priority 2. That would fill up our top 30

Oh and by the way, which bright spark at our club thinks that playing the Broncos or any QLD team up in Darwin is a great idea?

There is only one or maybe two teams that we should be playing in the tropics if we still think that it is a good idea to do so and that is the Canberra Raiders who play regular footy in frigid weather and maybe the Warriors do likewise and who would both have very little support up north. End of.

Dumbest club ever.

Agree. Throw Storm in there as a third option to take to the tropics. Any other club should be off limits when requesting our Darwin game in the draw.

The club didn't ask for the cowboys last year.

In fact the club were pretty pissed behind the scenes about it.

We flogged the Broncos there last time in 2021 so it shouldnt be an issue this week.

I agree though preferably we should play the Warriors up there but Anzac round up there means the Storm & Warriors are off the table as they play on Anzac Day.
