As much as I'd love to see the club stop trying to polish a turd and cut him loose (plus a few others), I expect nothing will change and the same, small-minded "locals only" mentality will rot the foundations ever further. It's like the board think having a team in the NRL is enough of an achievement to rest on- but nothing more. This isn't helped by a not-insignificant amount of the support-base who seem to think that everything is a-ok and we've somehow just been "unlucky"- season after season...

Who (outside of Novocastrians and people who chose to follow this team way back when and have stuck since) would follow this team?

Absolutely terrible performance from us. Dunno what the hell happened after leading 12-0. We just looked completely lost out there.

The killer was the unforced errors and last tackle options. How many times did we get tackled on 5th tackle? Definitely not first-grade standard.
