Irrespective of that Leuila blunder, one of my biggest criticisms of our team and the reason why we've gone crap is that simply, our line speed is way too slow. When we past the ball from left to right or right to left, the defence is already up in our face and we can't seem to really make use of those second phase plays that teams like the Storm seem to execute well.

The good news is Leilua won't play Origin. The bad news is Leilua won't play Origin.

If we lose today, we will be 2-7. As optimistic as I was last year, no way will we put a Parramatta 2009-like winning streak to make the top 8 this time around. Too many issues both on and off the field that have taken it's toll on our performance.

And it doesn't get easier. Next two games are against Manly at Brookvale Oval and Warriors in Auckland. A high chance that we will lose both of those games, and could be 2-9 at the end of this month.
