It's amazing how little I care about how the team goes these days. 8 years of total shitness on the field and an entire history of crap in the back office. Don't think I'll be attending any more games unless there's a complete management clean out which is unlikely.

Benji Marshall about 5-6 years ago dropped a ball cold and then kicked it after it hit the ground. A try was scored and when they went to the vid ref to check it they decided that it was ok because it constituted a drop kick, even though the intent to originally kick the ball was not there. Go figure.

Yeah, I'm not sure how they overturn it, but it's pretty much just our deal. Geez it's going to be a long year.

There's only one thing that makes it easier - it's that moment where you stop deluding yourself and accept your team is not top 8 quality.

I had some hope at the start of the year. Now I don't. I realise we're awful and it's not going to improve much this year.

So that's something. My heart won't be broken by a great season cruelly undone by injuries or some heartbreaking golden point loss. We just plain suck and the only reason I watch it is because I've always watched it. I no longer have hope or expectation of anything more than I'm watching today.

When you're as shit as the Knights, all the calls go against you. We do absolutely nothing to make our own luck. Just embarrassing team to support right now, they give you nothing to look forward to and to watch us is a chore. We have a few real liability players in the side and it's amazing that we fans can see that but the people calling the shots can't.

My f**king God. Trust us to be the only side to be better in most areas yet be 18 points down. Each time we're down there with good field position we don't do anything with it until the last tackle. 3/4 are forwards and it's either an unstructured play or a kick. Few players have played well though, Randell has been f**king excellent and It's wishful thinking to hope he'll play out the game at 7.

That said we should have two tries on the board. Neither were convincing enough to overturn.

I'm pretty sure they've changed that rule to say you can't score a try off a drop kick unless you were genuinely going for goal

Thought we were marching up the field much better and contained them better too. It's just poor errors, unneeded penalties. Haven't looked at the stats yet but that's disappointing.

As for Roberts, he'll be playing for Wests in 2 years

Yep, agree with that.

Randall was great. Much better than the over hyped Clydesdale. Snowden was good too with some neat passes. Gagai looks dangerous and gids wasn't a train wreck so there's that.

His only major flaw is the lack of speed around the ruck but Randall doesn't really have that either. Randall hasn't impressed me other than 2 games this year...although I know he's not a natural hooker so he might improve. Some of his passes scare me.

Clydesdale doesn't seem to have an effective running game. He needs one. It's 2015 not 1997.
