27 years old this year would be coming into his peak as a prop.

Would love for him to come back home and play with his teammates from Mascot days of Muarry and Keon.

Love this signing if it happened. Good player and doesn't appear to have the off field issues that Brandon Smith would come with.

Canberra need to share some of their forwards with the rest of the NRL.

surley the board will be hearing the rumours, bennet has a knack of getting middles to perform better.

i dont understand why they are trying to sign another hooker in starling???

use that money for a young middle whos still got the best part 4 years of good footy left in him.

I can understand why Wayne is looking to shore up the hooking position. The Eels fell by the wayside after they lost Mahoney and failed to replace him adequately after making a GF. Brisbane and Manly's big weakness is mediocrity from dh when they otherwise have teams that could win the comp. Penrith seem to be the exception although Mitch Kenny is obviously underrated but still, no star.

We're putting a lot of pressure on 2 pretty big gambles in Mamo and Humphreys to come good for us but our entire season could be on the skids if they don't come up trumps. So, I can understand the anxiety about our hooking stocks and the desire to look out for an insurance policy there. The spine positions are pivotal (pardon the pun).
