People act like rugby league is drug free behind the scenes though. I think some people will be shocked to find one of our players were taking recreational drugs in the pre season and thus were dropped for the first game. Behind closed doors league players are not role models they're like every other human on this earth with about 100 times more pressure on them. I know there are clean players out there but there's a lot of dirty ones as well.

We could entice peats back with the right money but it won't happen Souths aren't interested in buying more hookers.

Not sure if many of you would have seen it yet as the email only just came through. On the latest member insider, GI has sent a heartfelt message to all our members and fans for the support.

However, he also adressed the rumors that he is leaving the club. They are simply not true, he said he's proud to be captain and he's here for the next four years. Great news!!

Good to see the big fella back and feeling a lot better.

Rumour Rabbitohs are interested in bring back Joe Burgess and also keeping a eye on Curtis Rona who is also linked to his former club the dogs and tigers are interested too

Now that's recruitment. Rona and Burgess would be great replacements for AJ and Gray. Rona was an absolute freak before he left the NRL.

I agree re Carter.

But, I'd be keeping Cook. I'm telling you Doyen he's got spark and quality there!!!!!!

The last email I got off the club was on Tuesday and nothing from Gi in it.

Would it be in memberzone???


Edit: Callmack I just logged into memberzone and it's there.


Also Callmack GI may have to swap in games between fullback and centre with Gagai so he doesn't burn out. His presence on the field is very important to us.

Well Souths til I die the Tigpies have announced the signings of Mahe Fonua and Corey Thompson so that should give us a decent chance at getting Rona.

Also with Rona he is similar to Bryson in regards to the fact he is good at the shit work coming out of trouble. Rona knows how to find the tryline too and he's pretty quick.

On Joe Burgess thing is with him it's either diamonds or rocks lol..............

Also for next season I'd be looking at Mortimer as a back up half. He is better than Kelly.

I just viewed it and I enjoyed the little video....:D


I just want to see the boys have a crack tomorrow and dig in with the right atttiude. If we lose but they have done the jersey proud I'm fine with it.

Also got to get Cook on at about the 30min mark to catch out those Broncos forwards. If I was Madge I'd be encouraging Cook to dart out when there is a bit of an opportunity and Cook needs the support of someone like Cody or AJ and a line break/opportunity can be created.
