He acknowledged that Fletch's Su'a/Sorenson rant happened and Fletch is lashing out because he's too insecure to admit he made an error in judgement.

Doesn't realise that if he just said, "Each to their own, I just don't rate him" or, "I might have been wrong about Su'a" instead of feeling the need to deny at all costs that people would just let it go.

Everyone makes mistakes, only the most childish, insecure people feel that need to refuse to admit/acknowledge their errors.

Shit, if he admitted his error he'd actually win some respect back from people for being an adult about it.

Instead he puts his fingers in his ears, squeals and acts like he's being attacked.

Jayden Su'a is a defensive liability too!

Missed 6 tackles the other week! In fact he misses more tackles than Damien Cook who has been roasted for that in here previously!

I feel Su'a is more an interchange player!

So far I'm not liking our options to replace Angus and Sutto and it's a concern as those 2 are very hard to replace. If we don't get our recruitment right we will be found out big time in those positions and we could go backwards instead of forwards!

A back row of say Gosie and Su'a would be one of the weakest in the comp!

We don't know if Fui will stay or how he kicks on either!

I prefer Sam in the middle but he may very well have to be out right edge back rower! Who knows who'll play on the left!


As my mate said the other day it's hard to find quality back rowers! They don't come easily!

I'd still like us to have a look at Ethan Lowe. Runs hard with big metres and tackles well plus back up goal kicker and he's coming off contract!

I'm surpised I'm the only one who's mentioned him thus far. He is worth around the 600-650 mark!




Also to the person who said we have Turner anyway in regards to Clark going, I'd rather Turner go than Clark. Clark offers more.

Su'a defensively is a concern for mine. Other posters in here have said Angus to them is a bench player due to his defence. I believe Su'a has worse defence than Angus form what I've seen. I rate Su'a in all other areas but not defence. Of course that can get better but he may not be ready for a starting spot with us until 2020-21. He will get better as he develops!

Also putting him with Gosie who is even bigger of a turnstile than Su'a gives you one of the worst defensive second row pairings missed tackle wise in the comp imo.

It'd be good to keep Fui and Sutto for one more year and have them as our back rowers. If we get Su'a or Gosie a bench role suits those lads imo. If Fui or Sutto go down you'd have to consider Sam to back row probably starting!


@Different kind of Rabbit we should be able to give our opinions and views without a mountain being made out of a mole hill and we shouldn't have have to say each time where we heard our rumours!

It's meant to be a fun place not a place where posts continually get criticised or nitpicked to cause arguments! The ones continually singling out posters it's not on imo. Look.... I'm busy with work at the moment. I have a life outside of the forums as, I'm sure, do all of you. I don't have time to go through and look at all of these posts right now, I'll have to check them out later but anyway, three things I will say for the time being...

1. I'm here to make sure forum rules aren't being broken. Bickering and fighting in general doesn't necessarily break the rules and I'm not here to referee your fights. If they get too out of hand, I'll move them to a dump thread and move on but I'm not going to adjudicate unless rules are being broken. In short, sort it out between yourselves.

2. Tagging me into your fights is not going to do anything except annoy me. I'm nobodies personal moderator. If you think a rule is being broken, report the post.

3. If you're fighting and bickering all the time and can't sort it out between yourselves and it starts to annoy everyone else, you'll more than likely find that rather than coming down on one side or the other, we'll probably just suspend everyone involved and move on. So it's in your best interest to sort these things out yourselves if you want to stay involved in these forums.

I want Rabbitoad to have me on his ignore list! Can you make that happen? There isn't an iota of an effort at a normal conversation. I have tried! When it's multiple times the person bullies about individuals rumours why should we feel not able to come on here and do that for fear of this shit that we must have a source and all?? That's still clearly going on. I know a few that don't wish to post in these rumours threads anymore!

Coming down on both isn't necessarily the best way to deal with things in life. One should have the right to defend themselves from continual harassment! I have had others message me who are telling me now to ignore them all once more which I'll have to do and take their advice but they feel bad for me and that they unfortunately will have to leave these forums soon as as they are sick of the bullying that goes on!

Jayden Su'a has made 241 tackles in 10 games at 90%. That works out to be 265 tackle attempts in 2018 which averages out to be 26.5 per game.

So in 2018 he has missed 24 tackles, or 2.4 per game. Remove the game you claim he missed 6 and suddenly his missed tackle count is 18 (1.8 per game)

Crichton has made 433 tackles at 88.2% in 12 appearances. So roughly 490 attempts at 40.83 per game.

That's 57 missed tackles by Crichton at 4.75 per game!

Granted that Crichton has played more minutes in 2018 (80 mpg conpared to 60 from Su'a) but is an extra 20 minutes really excusable for almost double the amount of missed tackles? It's an extra 2.35 missed tackles from 14.33 tackles.

And on the other side of the footy, Su'a averages 95.7 in 60 mpg and Crichton 126.7 in 80 mpg. So not a huge difference there.

So to suggest that Su'a isn't good enough defensively and would only be worth a bench spot because of this is ludicrous.

Maybe I'm being harsh on Su'a but I have been going off what I have watched and not the stats.
