I saw that story, but when I tried looking for it at his official Twitter page, I can’t find it anywhere. Either TPJ deleted it or I missed it.

Anyway, I think it’s imperative that we resign our off contract players rather than sign an Angus replacement. Angus had his strengths in his running game but it would be nice to see if we had a second rower that could actually give Gagai early ball. He’s such a good ball runner and we don’t utilise him enough.

Does everyone think that Sutton will certainly be resigned? We have Greg Inglis eligible for the long service cap discount now. However I do hope we resign him. We have quite a bit of inexperience in our squad and I think he provides that level head in big games.

Looks like we’ve signed him for our NSWCup side according to this story. I expect we’ll see a few of these signings over the coming weeks. A good replacement for Arthurs. Might suggest that Kavinga will get a call up to the top 30.

PS-According to the story it’s not a done deal. Storm still have their hat in the ring. But we are favourites.

Perhaps I’m the ultimate cynic, but I believe very, very few rumours that appear in the daily rags, I don’t think anyone in club land trusts the journos, I don’t think they’re going to let them in on their personal lives, salary, where they’re going or who they’re meeting
These journos, like some people on here, are just good at putting two & two together, looking for obvious matches etc, it’s all about selling papers & satisfying their sponsors, they have to engage you somehow, so they’ll write any old shit to get you in

I agree with you in regards to our second row but honestly, I haven't decide on who I want to slot into that left edge spot out of Sam, Murray and Britt yet. To be honest, I'm not quite looking to 2019 just yet as I still haven't done my 2018 review which I hope to do tomorrow.

Yes, Sutto will be re-signed and rightly so, it'll be good for us to know that this is 100% his final season so we can prepare all year for a great send off. Very interesting indeed! I still really hope that it doesn't come to that and I hope he re-signs. I've heard whispers that Seibs wants to re-sign and the players want him but there is just an issue with the length of the contract and Seibs wants a longer term deal. Whether there's truth to that or not I don't know.

At least if Seibs does leave, we know the club has a plan that they are happy with and that fills me with confidence.

Now that is simply not true! We don't get angry about arguments, arguments are what creates discussion. We just get angry with the bickering and the fact that some people just don't seem to be able to disagree in a civil manner.
