Just announced on Ray Hadley morning show Seibold is gone to Brisbane.

We need to look for a new coach.

Might depend on Bennett. If he leaves Broncs early then Seibs will get a release for 2019. If Bennett doesn’t leave it’ll be up to us to terminate Seibs. I think that will happen with Furner being caretaker coach for 2019. Guess we’ll know for sure next week.

I think it’s highly plausible that Seibs has family issues that he needs to sort out in Brisbane. If it’s a done deal then I wish him the best. He has transformed the way we play football this year and I think he’ll go very well at the Broncos. I’ve personally been very critical of Bennett in the past but if he puts on the red and green then I’ll back him 100%. Would be nice if he brought Demetriou with him.

I don't know if it's true but there has been mention of family issues for Seibs in Brissy.

Yeah, it’s weird all over. The Football Department cap next year is only $5.9mil. According to reports the Broncs already spend $12mil, so they will need to cut costs, so I guess they can’t afford to payout Bennett plus pay Seibs. But if we do a straight swap in 2019 both clubs should be in the clear.
