As a Wests fan who’s gone/going through the Cleary shit I think it’s pretty poor what seibold is doing to you guys. Still at least it’s liklely to be sorted in the offseason and not be a major story right before a must win game.

Furner seems an odd choice. He had a very good roster at the Raiders for a number of years and didn’t even make the semis twice in a row. There was also a lot of issues with off field behavior during his time there. Really think someone like Demitriou or OBrien would be a better fit.

Yeah it’s definitely unfortunate but I think Seibs has left the place in a pretty good way. I think someone like Bennett taking over right now could be a really good thing considering how well we went last year in attack. Maguire will be awesome for you guys if it goes through!

I don't know if it's true but there has been mention of family issues for Seibs in Brissy.

Well this takes away some of the excitment about the 2019 Draw. I'm absolutely gutted by this, not that I didn't see it coming but it's just really guttering. Seibs is an outstanding coach, we all know that, and I thought we were really building towards something special with him. But no. Seibs has just f**ked all of that!!!

We gave him his chance and took a massive risk on him (which paied off big time) but he's just gone and thrown it back in our face.

I think he needs to go for 2019, it's gonna hurt us longer term if he sticks around next year. In regards to who should replace him, I'd take Bennett for sure. I know some aren't a fan but he's a great coach, a very good man manager and is a proven winner with plenty of experience. With the great state that the club is in at the moment as well, the transition could be quite smooth.

He has transformed the way we play football this year and I think he’ll go very well at the Broncos. I’ve personally been very critical of Bennett in the past but if he puts on the red and green then I’ll back him 100%. Would be nice if he brought Demetriou with him.

Agree. The more I think about it, the utter mis-Management of those last rounds and the finals, with the player burn out and misused interchange. Being behind the posts for the Canberra game, the complete inactivity of the bench killed us and I think busted Sam. It was a coach on tilt. That 9 game winning streak turned a rather inept finish into a coach of the year award.

I guess the good thing with Bennett is he’s a disciplinarian. Some players don’t like that as we saw under Madge. Oh well they’ll have to suck it up or leave.
