That's my point. We breed them, our history puts them to shame just like our crowds do but they have top 4 teams year in yeat out.

Excuse me ? Crowds ? We've beaten you for crowds just about every year for the last 20 at least. Give or take 1 or 2. Your crowds are a disgrace. You may have all those pet members, but pets don't show up to matches.

STHS have been ahead of the Roosters in the last 10 yrs on home & away average on 8 of 10 of those yrs!!
The Roosters have only headed STHS in 2008 & 2017!

Well having checked the figures, you are correct so way to make a fool of myself lol. I can't remember what I was thinking of when I thought that, maybe the penalty figures or something. Oh well thanks for pointing out my error, but still your conversion from members to bums on seats isn't that good.

What you said didn't seem correct so I checked the stats!

I don't think you made a fool of yourself--I wouldn't have bet money on the fact!!

Sths had a pretty poor year in 2017 so were lucky to get the crowds they did!!

2017 Sths 14,243 & the Roosters 15,584 ie; H & A crowds.

Sths Home was only 10,903 so we were boosted fairly much by away crowds.
Roosters Home was 15,387 so nearly 5,000 more at home games than Sths!

2017 - Good Friday - Bulldogs Home game v Souths
2017 - Anzac Day - Roosters Home Game v Dragons
These games dramatically change the Home Teams average for the year.
In 2018 Souths host Bulldogs and Dragons host Roosters - and will effect the average crowds for this year.

Roosters in the top 4 have smaller crowds than a rebuilding souths. Sooner or later souths will be top 4 regulars & the roosters will fall to the bottom of the table. Do you think crowd figures will be close?
