George was our second highest paid player last year, one of the highest paid in the league, was supposed to be our forward leader (our forwards were lackluster all year). He had a shit year yet not only was he spared from the 'banter' but he was actually praised? Not only was it wrong for crowe to publicly humiliate our young players, he interfered in the coaches territory, and he played favourites. Why should our highest paid forward of been praised for being shit all year long while our younger players (guys like mcinnes and keary) have to cop that B.S?

I think the teams with slippery halves,like the Broncos will cut tiring defences to shreds rather than kicking & giving up possession!

A top half needs to have a more all-round game;kicking certainly part of it---but speedy halves will pour on the points against lumbering forwards.The running smaller man is the future,IMO.
AR has never been very quick;probably a result of injuries;but nevertheless he is pedestrian as smaller men go.

I think the shrewd Wayne Bennett is putting together a smaller mobile pack of players able to play much longer minutes backed up by halves that can take on the line with speed.

I'll be interested to see how the huge Dogs pack & to a lesser extent Sths, handle the lessened i/change.
